Before her concert in Toronto on Tuesday, Lily Allen spent time at Niagara Falls with Tommy Dorfman, known for their role in ‘13 Reasons Why‘.
The 40-year-old singer has arrived in Canada before her concerts at Massey Hall in Toronto on April 7th and 8th. She’ll then continue on to Boston on April 11th.
The singer, currently touring with her West End Girl show, posted pictures of herself enjoying the scenery at Niagara Falls with a friend.
She also posted a snap of herself going for a bite to eat along with a photo with Tommy in a cafe.
In the photo, the singer was wearing a black turtleneck sweater, and her friend Tommy was wearing a brown sweater with a white t-shirt underneath.
Alongside the post, Lily wrote: ‘What to do with a day off in Toronto’.
Lily and Tommy have been friends for some time and have gone to events together, like the Chanel Tribeca Festival Artists Dinner in New York City last June.
Lily Allen’s album, West End Girl, is largely inspired by her divorce from David Harbour, and she’s now traveling the globe on tour to support it.
The album received three nominations at the 2026 BRIT Awards, but the artist didn’t win in any of those categories at the show.
Lily ended her marriage to David, the actor from Stranger Things, after finding out he was on Raya, a dating app for famous people.
She reportedly sought help at a trauma center after confiding in friends that she was struggling with emotional distress following her divorce.
During her time at the $10,000-a-week clinic in the US, she was required to participate in both group and individual therapy sessions.
Lily explained that she chose to seek help at a trauma center, even though it meant being separated from her daughters, because she was finding it increasingly difficult to cope and be the parent they needed.
She shares two daughters Ethel, 13, and Marnie, 11, with her ex-husband Sam Cooper.
I was really touched by what she shared on her latest podcast. After everything she went through, she was so honest about not wanting to be a burden to her kids while she was dealing with a really tough time after her breakup with David. She basically said she didn’t want them to have to take care of her emotionally, and it felt so brave of her to admit that.
Lily said she’s pausing her podcast after having a difficult time adjusting back to life in the US.
Oh my gosh, she finally said it! Everyone’s always assuming she doesn’t love her kids, which is just…wrong! She adores them, truly. And it’s so heartbreaking because she’s going through something really tough right now, and she needs to be strong for them. It just breaks my heart knowing she has to put on that strong face, but she does it because she loves them so much!
I was finding it increasingly difficult to support them the way they needed.
Leaving my family for a few weeks to prioritize my own well-being was a difficult choice, but I knew it was necessary. Taking that time for myself would ultimately allow me to better support all of us through a challenging period, and I needed professional help to make that happen.
She explained that she never wanted her loved ones to feel responsible for taking care of her. She emphasized that she was the one who should have been providing support and security, but she wasn’t able to because she was going through a difficult emotional time, and it wasn’t their fault.
I definitely feel more confident now. I’m not claiming to be perfect or have everything figured out, and maybe I never will, but I’m much better off than I was before.
