After a long wait, the third season of Euphoria will finally premiere in just a few days, and Zendaya, who plays Rue Bennett, believes this will be the show’s last season. She’s promised fans a sense of “closure,” suggesting the new season, which jumps forward in time, could be the end of the story for the characters we’ve come to know.
Since its debut in 2019, the show created by Sam Levinson has quickly made stars of young actors like Hunter Schafer, Jacob Elordi, and Sydney Sweeney.
The show is back this month with a new season that fans have been waiting for! It’s been five years within the story, matching the four-year break since the last season.
While appearing on The Drew Barrymore Show to discuss the latest season, Zendaya hinted that this could be the final installment of the show, meaning we might not see Rue and her friends again.
When asked if the third season might be the last, the Spider-Man actor simply said, “Yeah, I think so.”
