‘You’re not healthy’: Billy Ray Cyrus’ son Trace pens public plea urging singer to get help

As a youngster, Trace Cyrus aspired to emulate his father, Billy Ray Cyrus. Today, however, he finds it hard to identify the man he once admired as the “coolest person” with the person he now knows.

Younger brother Cyrus, who is known for being the sibling of popular singers Miley Cyrus and Noah Cyrus, shared his deep feelings regarding the “Achy Breaky Heart” singer on Instagram yesterday. His heartfelt letter revealed that he and his siblings have been concerned about their father for a long time, stating that he has distanced all of them.

Billy Ray Cyrus has five children in total: Trace and Brandi (who are adopted and were previously born to Tish’s first husband, Baxter Neal Helson), Miley, Braison, and Noah (all of whom Tish had with Billy Ray). He also has another son named Christopher Cody Cyrus, who was born from his previous relationship with Kristin Luckey in 1992. Billy Ray was married to Tish from 1993 until 2022.

35-year-old Trace Cyrus asserted on Wednesday that his father, who is 63 years old, has not been around for Noah (referring to someone named Noah) and expressed that his family members are clinging to memories and still harboring hope that the man they once knew will reappear.

After a leaked audio revealed Billy Ray Cyrus using profanities towards his estranged spouse Tish Cyrus, it appears his feelings towards her have grown more strained. In his own words, “I had reached the end of my tether.

“You’re not healthy Dad & everyone is noticing it,” Trace Cyrus continued.

He mentioned, “I trust you understand this note stems from affection and apprehension about the possibility of losing you prematurely.

Instead of just voicing their disagreements, Trace Cyrus appeared to extend a supportive hand towards his estranged father, who he believes might be dealing with his own private troubles.

Or, in another way:

Instead of only expressing the problems between him and his family, Trace Cyrus seemed to offer assistance to his distant father, whom he thinks may be grappling with personal struggles.

Trace expressed his willingness to assist, provided that you feel comfortable enough to accept help,” he mentioned, having abstained from alcohol for over a year.

During the event, Fox News emerged as the most popular network, whereas for the inauguration coverage, MSNBC surpassed CNN’s viewership figures for the very first time.

The representatives for Billy Ray Cyrus, Miley Cyrus, and Noah Cyrus failed to provide an immediate response when contacted by The Times.

Days following his father’s performance at President Trump’s Liberty Ball, Trace Cyrus spoke up about the event. On Monday, the senior Cyrus started his Inauguration Day performance by awkwardly singing along to both his verse and Lil Nas X’s part from their 2019 hit “Old Town Road.” However, his voice was often overpowered by the music video that continuously played in the background. At one point, he even stopped and restarted his singing to match the video’s rhythm.

He confided in the audience that they hadn’t even scratched the surface yet, as he prepared to play the “Old Town Road” chorus multiple times, totaling nearly 30 seconds.

He hinted that the attendees hadn’t fully warmed up yet, since he was about to perform the “Old Town Road” chorus repeatedly for almost 30 seconds.

He admitted: “They told me to kill as much time as possible.”

After resolving various technical issues, Billy Ray Cyrus ended his performance by singing an impromptu, one-minute rendition of “Achy Breaky Heart,” which is usually a 3½-minute song, without any backup music on Instagram. He later referred to this unexpected segment as the most enjoyable part of the Monday event.
