Following the success of One Piece Season 1 on Netflix, the streaming service has announced that a new season is coming soon. The Straw Hat Pirates have reached the Grand Line in their quest for the legendary treasure, where they faced powerful enemies and gained a surprising new teammate. Now, Monkey D. Luffy (Iñaki Godoy) and his crew are heading towards their most dangerous challenge yet: a full-scale war in the kingdom of Alabasta.
Netflix has given fans a sneak peek at Season 3 of One Piece, now titled The Battle of Alabasta. The new season is expected to arrive sometime in 2027. While Season 2 premiered in March, production on Season 3 is still underway, so a release towards the end of 2027 seems most probable. Netflix was able to move quickly with Season 3 because they renewed the show well before Season 2 even launched. Given that One Piece is consistently one of the most popular shows on the platform, an announcement for Season 4 could come relatively soon. For now, Season 3 promises plenty of adventure for viewers.
