Sting’s 7-Hour Tantric Sex Secret Unveiled: The Truth Behind the Legend
For many years, their intimate practices rooted in tantra have been a subject of ongoing discussion, following their claims from the 90s about spending extended periods together intimately.
At last, the genuine account of what transpires during the rumored seven-hour Sting and his wife Trudie Styler’s private sessions has come to light.
In a recent chat with The Times, the iconic musician (aged 73) and his filmmaker spouse (also 73), who got married in 1992, playfully discussed the mysteries that unfold within their private space, long after a well-known declaration.
Sting, whose real name is Gordon Matthew Thomas Sumner, nonchalantly remarked, “Things could be more challenging. The duration of seven hours encompasses our dinner, a film, and five hours spent asking.
The star’s romantic life has been a topic of frequent speculation, ever since he openly discussed his intimate, tantric experiences during an interview.
In a 2014 interview on the Bravo series Inside The Actor’s Studio, he had made clear his controversial statements.
He clarified that tantric sex represents a spiritual experience. He further stated, “I can’t think of anything more sincere and meaningful to express love for another person than this shared, sacred ritual I refer to as ‘the sacrament.’ I wholeheartedly support it – not just the length of time, but the concept itself.
He then quipped, ‘Seven hours includes movie and dinner,’ generating laughs from the audience.
In 2011, Trudie said her husband’s original claim about their love life was a drunken boast.
Although she dismissed the notion that they engaged in it continuously, she carefully avoided accusing him of fabricating information regarding his yoga practice.
She stated: “Twenty-one years ago, Sting mentioned something. Now that he’s sixty, it seems the tantric tale will continue until he eventually stops.
As a lifestyle connoisseur, let me share a little anecdote: Guess who I’d point my finger at for that incident? None other than Bob Geldof. You see, he and Sting found themselves in an unexpected situation – what was supposed to be an interview with a rock journalist evolved into an impromptu drinking session.
Once inquired about our duration, the journalist posed the question to me. In response, Geldof jokingly referred to himself as a three-minute man. However, given that Sting practices yoga, he suggested we might have the stamina to last for hours. To which Sting humorously responded, “Haven’t you heard about prolonged lovemaking, like tantric sex?
Sting conveyed that the essence of tantra lies in fostering intimacy, showing genuine care for your partner, and deeply connecting before physical intimacy occurs. In simpler terms, it’s about nurturing a strong emotional bond before engaging in sexual activity.
‘It’s simply engagement with your partner.’
In the latest interview, Sting was asked about his favorite acting role performed by Trudie, and in a playful exchange, he humorously mentioned that it was when she portrayed a dominatrix.
The couple also admitted that neither of them are a fan of SpaceX and Tesla CEO Elon Musk.
It’s delightful to venture to Mars – but for heaven’s sake, remain there.
Regardless of their playful behavior, they are each other’s most devoted supporters. At the Globo d’Oro Awards in July, Sting was a beaming husband, showing nothing but pride for Trudie.
As the musician gracefully walked the red carpet alongside the director, it was later announced that she had won the award for Best Documentary.
Trudie chose a graceful, cream-colored lace gown while preparing to receive the award for her movie titled “Can I Enter?” – An Homage to Naples.
In the movie, it showcased Trudie and Sting’s deep-seated love for Italy. At the event, the actress shared her personal connection to the country in an exclusive chat with People magazine.
She mentioned that Sting and she had developed a deep affection for Italy decades ago. In fact, once one of their children was born close to Pisa, they spent several years searching for a place where they could all reside. Italy has consistently shown them warmth and kindness throughout their journey.
‘From the 1980s, when I filmed movies here in Rome at Cinecitta, up until the year after Sting wrote one of his most emotional albums near Pisa following the passing of his parents, and simultaneously as we welcomed a new child into our family, Italy has held a deep and significant meaning for us.’
Sting and his partner Trudie have four children: Mickey (aged 40), Jake (39), Eliot (33), and Giacomo (28). Additionally, Sting, who was the lead singer of The Police, has a son named Joe (47) and a daughter named Fuschia (42) from his previous relationship with Frances Tomelty.
Speaking about their ability to manage Trudie and Sting’s demanding careers, she expressed that they take pride in them.
She mentioned that they understand we are occupied and content. Each child is following their individual journey in life and profession, and they demonstrate strong work values, which makes us feel proud.
Following their attendance at the Ivor Novello Awards, the couple revealed their relationship, as Sting received the Academy’s highest honor – a Fellowship.
As a die-hard fan, I can’t help but gush about it! Standing there, I couldn’t contain my excitement as the brilliant British rocker declared his profound affection for The Ivors Academy. To say I was overjoyed when he mentioned being bestowed with this exceptional honor would be an understatement; I was absolutely thrilled!
Previously, when I was here last, I received a lifetime achievement award, but I found it came a bit too early for my taste.
However, this fellowship seemed to extend beyond a single lifetime, reminiscent of “The Lord of the Rings,” but I believe it entails more responsibilities than just being part of one.
One of the roles of The Ivors is defending the copyrights of songwriters, including both well-known ones like myself and emerging talents in the music industry.
Additionally, British songwriting plays a significant role as an export. It’s crucial that we safeguard it, and I feel honored to contribute to this organization, which I take great pride in.
From 1977 to the band’s split in 1986, Sting served as the lead vocalist, composer of songs, and played the bass guitar in the British new wave group, The Police.
He launched a solo career in 1985.
