Story Highlights
- Boom Beach is coming to PC via Google Play Games, expanding beyond mobile.
- More Supercell titles like Brawl Stars and Hay Day could follow the same soon.
- Official PC release date of Boom Beach is yet to be confirmed at the time of writing.
As a long-time Boom Beach player, I was so excited to hear that Supercell is finally bringing the game to PC via Google Play Games! We’ve been enjoying it on mobile for over 12 years, and it’s awesome to know we’ll soon be able to play this strategy game on a bigger screen. They haven’t announced a specific release date yet, but this is huge news for all of us fans!
This marks another Supercell title on PC after Clash of Clans and Clash Royale
Supercell has previously released games on PC. In 2023, both Clash of Clans and Clash Royale became officially available on PC through Google Play Games, initially in a few areas, and then in more regions.
Therefore, playing Boom Beach on a PC will probably work the same way. You’ll use the Google Play Games app for Windows to find, install, and play the game. This also lets you connect your account and keep your progress saved.
We’re closing in, Commanders.💻
What are you most excited about with the PC release?
— Boom Beach (@BoomBeach) April 5, 2026
Boom Beach is a strategy game where you fight against the Blackguard, a villainous group, while constructing and growing your own island base. It’s set in a tropical environment and combines building up your base with managing resources, and battling other players in both team-based and competitive fights.
If you’ve enjoyed playing Boom Beach on a tablet, you’ll appreciate how much better it feels on a PC with a larger screen. Because your progress transfers over, everything will be smoother – zooming, clicking, and dragging will all be easier and more comfortable.
Google Play Games for PC has been expanding consistently since it first became available in 2023. Following a significant update last year, Google’s goal is to allow all Android games to be playable on PC automatically, though developers can choose to prevent their games from being included.
Now that Boom Beach is available on PC, we can expect other Supercell games to follow. Brawl Stars and Hay Day are likely candidates for PC releases next. Currently, we don’t have a specific date for Boom Beach’s PC launch, but I’ll share updates as soon as they’re announced, so check back soon!
