Love Island: All Stars’ Luca Bish says he would LEAVE the villa if ex Gemma Owen walked in – as his former girlfriend fears he’ll spill the beans on their breakup
Love Island: Luca Bish Shares He Would Leave the Villa if Ex, Gemma Owen, Enters as a Surprise Contestant.
Previously a fish vendor, now aged 25, is eagerly anticipating another chance at romance on the ITV2 dating program, having been in a relationship with Michael Owen’s daughter, who is 21, over two years ago.
However, shortly after finishing as runners-up on the show, Luca suggested that any future encounter between them might not be pleasant, as he humorously implied he would quickly leave the program if it happened.
In a chat with TopMob and other media outlets before appearing in the upcoming series, Luca jokingly commented: “I might just leave the room!” when asked about his reaction if the influencer were to enter the premises.
Emphasising his point, he then joked: ‘I’d probably say “I’m a Love Islander, get me out of here!”‘
If she expressed a desire to rejoin the show in search of love again, it appears he wouldn’t object. In fact, he would fully support her endeavor and could only wish for her to have a more favorable experience this time around.
However, unlike some of the other island residents such as Marcel and Gabby who seem open to rekindling relationships with their former partners, Luca firmly maintains that he and Gemma have no plans to reconcile.
He commented: ‘Actually, you may read a book twice, yet its conclusion remains constant. That’s my perspective on such matters. My apologies to Gemma.’
The situation arises as rumors swirl that Gemma may find it difficult when Luca discusses their split during the upcoming program, which will have Maya Jama as its host for the second time.
According to a source, Gemma has expressed that she doesn’t want this situation due to her attempts over the past year to maintain privacy in her personal life.
‘Their break-up was shrouded in secrecy and neither has discussed it, but it did not end well.
He suggested that he was caught off guard by the break-up when she announced it on social media, and now he’s ready to share his side of the story.
ITV has been contacted by TopMob for comment.
Some viewers claimed that Luca exerted a dominating influence over Gemma while they were both on the program.
Once back in the UK, he expressed remorse for certain behaviors and admitted that viewing himself on television left him feeling as if he was not the same person he once knew.
He faced allegations of misogyny and excessive control over a 19-year-old, prompting some viewers to file complaints to Ofcom due to these behaviors.
In an interview with Grazia following the event, he commented, “Given her strength, she wouldn’t allow herself to find herself in such a predicament.
Admitting that his actions were controlling, he further stated: ‘I find myself questioning, “Is this truly who I am in other settings? What made me act that way?”‘.
Luca, who ended up in second position alongside Gemma, shared with the media: “It’s tough when you have such deep feelings for someone, but the producers keep us engaged in challenges, introducing new people to stir up our emotions and sentiments. Frankly, I was just tired of it all.
He continued by expressing that his feelings intensified while participating in the program, as he found himself growing more and more smitten with the stunning brunette, Gemma.
Love Island: All Stars returns Monday 13th January at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
