The popular police drama Cracked, known for its strong performances and starring David Sutcliffe (from Gilmore Girls), is now available to stream in the UK. Sutcliffe plays Detective Aidan Black in this Canadian series that gained a dedicated following.
The police show continues with Aidan getting a new partner, but he’s surprised to learn what they do for a living. Instead of teaming up with another officer, the detective starts working with Dr. Daniella Ridley, played by Stefanie von Pfetten.
The show ran for two seasons with a total of 21 episodes in 2013, but it was later cancelled. Currently, you can stream all 13 episodes of the first season on Prime Video in the UK. However, the second season, which has eight episodes, isn’t available on the service just yet.
The new police drama, created by Tracey Forbes and Calum de Hartog, centers around Detective Aidan Black, a former SWAT officer, who is surprised to discover his new partner isn’t a police officer.
He’s now working with Dr. Daniella Ridley, a forensic psychiatrist, in a new unit dedicated to solving the city’s worst crimes. They’re hoping their different approaches will help them solve even the most difficult cases.
