The new HBO Max series, Privilèges, is gaining popularity around the world after its release on March 27th. This six-episode French thriller features Manon Bresch as Adèle Charki, a young prisoner who finds herself caught up in a risky situation.
Adèle starts working as a bellhop at a fancy hotel in Paris, the Citadel, through a program that lets her study and work.
Adèle finds herself caught in a web of power plays and deceit while working for the strict hotel director, Édouard Galzain (Melvil Poupaud). The hotel becomes a breeding ground for betrayal as staff compete with each other and try to influence wealthy guests.
A young prisoner sees a chance to turn his life around when he gets a job at a glamorous Paris hotel, but he quickly discovers it’s a world of cutthroat competition and deceit.
Nina Zem, Anne Azoulay, Zar Amir Ebrahimi, Sandor Funtek, Joseph Olivennes, Stephanie Atala, Lili Aubry, Nadia Benzakour, and Paula Puro join Bresch and Poupaud in the film’s cast.
