While Peter Jackson really proved himself with those massive battles, it’s cool to remember that other movies have also become famous because of their amazing battle scenes too.

You can tell they didn’t waste a single rupee because the action sequences are incredible. I’m talking epic battles – like two groups fighting surrounded by wild animals, and this one scene where a single soldier takes on a whole crowd of people! It was just non-stop action and visually stunning.

He then defeats his father, Darth Vader, not by destroying him, but by showing mercy, which ultimately inspires Vader to turn against the Emperor, Palpatine, and save Luke. This powerful ending to the original Star Wars trilogy shares similarities with The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King, both in name and in its sweeping, satisfying conclusion.
Avengers: Endgame Brought Everyone Back to Fight Together
After the initial struggle to reverse Thanos’ damage, the movie doesn’t show many large battles. Honestly, I kept asking myself how they filmed some of those scenes in Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon – they were just unbelievable. It truly feels like a perfect martial arts fantasy film.
Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End Banded Pirate Armies
There’s nothing quite like watching a large group of pirates unite against a shared enemy, and the third Pirates of the Caribbean film delivered that spectacle. It successfully brought together everything established in the previous two movies, both in terms of the world and the characters. The visual effects were top-notch, and even now, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End still looks fantastic compared to many modern action movies.

This brutal sport hones the fighting abilities of many, ultimately leading to a climactic and rewarding showdown between Maximus and Commodus.

It emphasizes the brutal reality of war, showing that this is a story defined by the constant struggle on the battlefield, not just isolated battles. The film effectively portrays how years of fighting became the everyday existence for these soldiers, and successfully brings that feeling to the screen.
