Clash of Clans: How to beat the Ice Job Challenge
As a seasoned gamer with years of Clash of Clans under my belt, I must say that the January 2025 “Ice and Fire” Season has got me pumped! The Ice Job Challenge is a thrilling addition to this year’s events, offering a perfect blend of strategy and skill. With its unique layout and rewards, it’s a refreshing change from the usual battles we face in the game.
Having tackled countless challenges before, I can confidently say that the Ice Job Challenge is not as easy as it seems at first glance. The base may appear simple, but don’t be fooled by its looks! With a few tweaks to my trusty troop lineup and some strategic planning, I managed to conquer this challenge with relative ease.
The rewards are nothing to scoff at either – 400 XP, 25 Gems, and a Resource Potion are always welcome additions to my coffers! It’s a shame that the makers haven’t shaken things up more, but I guess we can’t expect miracles overnight.
Following the instructions provided, I was able to secure three stars with a few adjustments of my own. Here are some tips:
1. Make sure your Grand Warden is set to Air Mode before starting the attack.
2. Start at the top by deploying a Bowler above the Dark Elixir Storage and trigger the Seeking Air Mine with a Balloon.
3. Focus on defenses, using an Inferno Dragon on the King Statue to destroy the Monolith, followed by your Barbarian King and Archer Queen.
4. Use an Ice Golem ahead of the remaining Monoliths and activate the Barbarian King’s ability to clear this critical area.
5. Shift your attention to the bottom of the base, deploying your Royal Champion near the Lunar New Year Obstacle on the left side and activating her ability to clear defenses.
6. Once the Warden takes down the Ricochet Cannons, trigger his ability and use an Earthquake Spell to weaken the Single Target Inferno in the center.
7. Heal and precisely place your King, Queen, and Royal Champion as they face off against the Ice Golems.
8. Handle any remaining defenses or non-defensive buildings using leftover troops, and adjust your Ice Hound deployment based on the situation.
With these steps in mind, I’m confident that even a newcomer to CoC can conquer this challenge! Just remember: Clash of Clans is like life – sometimes you need to think outside the box and adapt to changing situations to come out on top. Oh, and never underestimate the power of a well-timed joke – it’s always good for a laugh when things get tough!
As a long-time player of Clash of Clans, I can confidently say that the January 2025 “Ice and Fire” Season has been one of the most exciting updates in recent memory. The Ice Job Challenge event is particularly intriguing to me because of my past experiences with similar events in the game.
To secure those elusive three stars, I’ve found that a well-thought-out strategy is crucial. First and foremost, scouting the base thoroughly before attacking is key to success. Identify weak spots and plan your attack accordingly.
Next, it’s important to prioritize which buildings to target first. In this challenge, taking out the Ice Wizard towers quickly can give you a significant advantage. Use high-damage troops like Dragons or P.E.K.K.A.s to take them down as soon as possible.
Finally, don’t forget to use your Heroes effectively! King and Queen are particularly useful for taking out key buildings like the Town Hall and Clan Castle. And remember, practice makes perfect – keep trying different strategies until you find one that works for you. Good luck in the Ice Job Challenge, fellow Clashers!
Introducing the Ice Job Challenge in Clash of Clans
This challenge appears simpler than it seems at first glance, but its foundation proves to be quite tricky due to multiple active defense mechanisms and powerful heroes paired with an apparently ordinary troop force.
As a long-time participant in these challenges, I’ve grown accustomed to the consistent approach of receiving rewards. It seems that the creators have opted for a ‘set it and forget it’ strategy, which is understandable given their busy schedules and numerous responsibilities. However, I can’t help but feel a bit underwhelmed when it comes to innovation or change in this area.
Moving on to the specifics of your query, the rewards for this challenge will be reminiscent of those in previous ones: you’ll receive 400 XP, 25 Gems, and one Resource Potion. I must say, these rewards have become a staple in my gaming life, providing a steady boost to my progress without asking too much effort on my part.
I hope this helps clarify the situation for you!
How to beat the Ice Job Challenge in Clash of Clans
Before launching the assault, make certain that your Grand Warden is switched to Air Mode. Begin at the highest part of the base by dropping a Bowler above the Dark Elixir Storage. The Bowler will bounce through the storage to destroy the Air Defense. Position a Balloon to the right of the same area where you deployed the Bowler to set off the Seeking Air Mine. Once the Air Defense is destroyed, put the Warden in the spot where the Balloon was previously placed. This initial arrangement provides a powerful entry point for the rest of your attack.
Now, let’s shift our attention to the defensive strategy. On the right, position an Inferno Dragon atop the King Statue to eliminate the Monolith. On the left side, initially place your Barbarian King and then the Archer Queen to the left of the Monolith. Once the Monolith is removed, release an Ice Golem in front of the remaining two Monoliths. Follow this up with a Balloon. When your Barbarian King arrives at the Monoliths, trigger his ability to clear the crucial area.
Focus on the base’s bottom region. Place your “Royal Champion” by the Lunar New Year hindrance on the left side, then activate her special power to eliminate defenses. After the Warden destroys the “Ricochet Cannons”, initiate his ability and cast an “Earthquake Spell” to weaken the Central Single Target Inferno. At this stage, healing and strategic positioning will significantly influence the results.
Cast a “Healing Charm” on your Monarch and Monarch’s Consort, who are engaged in battle against the Ice Giants. If necessary, resurrect the Noble Warrior and use “Stealth Charms” to make her invisible, leading her towards the Single-Target Fire with these charms. This will keep any Multi-Target Fires hidden, ensuring a clear path for the warrior. Precision in timing is essential for activating abilities and deploying spells effectively, thereby maintaining control over the battle’s progression.

1. Wrap up by attacking any remaining defense or non-offensive structures with your leftover soldiers.
2. If the Monolith focuses on the King, it’s controllable, but if it zeroes in on the Queen, trigger her power right away.
3. Modify your Ice Hound deployment depending on the circumstances and employ any extra Revive Spells as needed.
4. Follow these guidelines and you’ll earn a three-star victory!
