Andy Cohen jokingly referenced Kristi Noem’s husband, Bryon, and a past incident involving cross-dressing in an Easter message he posted on Instagram Threads on Friday.
Okay, so things are definitely heating up! I recently responded to Sarah Michelle Gellar’s comments about Real Housewives of Beverly Hills – I just think it’s great entertainment! But ahead of the holidays, I had a little something to say to a certain group: those married men who are also big Trump supporters. Let’s just say I had a message for them, and it’s definitely getting people talking.
This post appears shortly after the Daily Mail reported that the former Homeland Security Secretary’s husband, Bryon, had shared revealing photos of himself – including pictures with artificial breasts and tight clothing – with performers in online fetish pornography.
Cohen posted on Threads wishing his conservative, married friends a Happy Easter, playfully referring to them as his ‘tig-bitted MAGA bros’.
The Bravo host, known for his criticism of the Trump administration, also posted more about Noem on his Threads account.
Cohen reacted to the news about Kristi Noem’s husband on Tuesday by tweeting, ‘I definitely didn’t expect this!’
He posted additional messages, including one wishing Kristi Noem a Happy April Fool’s Day and another jokingly asking how his “tig-bitted married MAGA Men” were doing.
After Donald Trump won the U.S. presidential election in November 2024, Cohen surprisingly shared a video with a message of unity, even though he had been a strong supporter of Kamala Harris during the campaign.
The actor asked his five-year-old son what he thought about the election, and the boy simply said, ‘Donald Trump won!’
Cohen said to his son with a gentle smile, ‘He really did.’ Then he asked, ‘What do you make of that? We’re proud of our country, aren’t we? Yes, we are. We’ll keep going and make progress.’
I was shocked to see the Daily Mail’s report on Tuesday. They published really personal and explicit messages, and even photos of Bryon seemingly trying to create the appearance of breasts with balloons under his shirt. It was a lot to take in, honestly.
Photos show the dad of three making a kissing face at the camera. Another picture features him wearing tight-fitting green leggings.
Look, when asked about it directly, Bryon didn’t refute the claims. He didn’t say he didn’t have private conversations or share photos of himself exploring a feminine side. He simply didn’t deny it, which, let’s be real, speaks volumes. As someone who advises people on navigating public image, staying silent can sometimes be just as telling as a direct response.
The Daily Mail questioned Bryon about whether his revealing remarks concerning his wife might have created a national security risk by making her vulnerable to blackmail.
Should politicians’ family scandals affect their national security clearance and public trust?
What’s your view?
‘Yeah, I made no comments like that, that would lead to that,’ Bryon replied. ‘I deny the second part of that.’
Bryon sent his secret roster of online acquaintances at least $25,000 via Cash App and PayPal.
A representative for Governor Noem stated that Bryon’s family was shocked to learn about his history of cross-dressing, and that his wife of 34 years is deeply upset.
Security professionals believe his questionable behavior could have made Noem vulnerable to blackmail while she served in Trump’s administration.
As the leader of the country’s biggest law enforcement organization, Noem was responsible for protecting highly confidential national security details.
She lost her job earlier this month after it was revealed she approved a controversial advertising campaign costing taxpayers $220 million.
Noem told lawmakers that the President had approved the advertisement to which he furiously denied.
According to multiple high-ranking sources within the Department of Homeland Security who spoke with the Daily Mail, Governor Noem’s access to highly classified information could have been denied. This is because her online interactions raised concerns that foreign governments might try to blackmail her, compromising national security.
‘I can vouch for the blackmail claim,’ one current official said.
Normally, this would immediately prevent someone from being considered for a national security position, especially if their spouse was concealing something like this.
Oh my gosh, Noem and Bryon? They’re just the sweetest! I’ve followed their story for years! They actually met way back in high school, can you believe it? And they’ve been married since 1992! They built this amazing family – three kids! Kassidy is 31, then there’s Kennedy who’s 29, and their son, Booker, is 23. I feel like I’ve watched them all grow up!
A rep for Noem said in a statement to the New York Post on Tuesday: ‘Ms. Noem is devastated.
‘The family was blindsided by this, and they ask for privacy and prayers at the time.’
The previous Secretary of Homeland Security still works for the government. Now, they’re the Special Envoy for the Shield of the Americas, a new position dedicated to improving security across the Western Hemisphere.
