I’m A Celebrity winner ‘revealed’ a week before the final after impressing viewers – and it’s NOT Coleen Rooney
As I delve into this intriguing narrative, I find myself captivated by the raw honesty and vulnerability displayed by one of the contestants, Danny. His courage to share his personal struggles with anxiety is truly commendable, especially considering the public eye he’s under.
According to the latest betting odds, it appears that the winner of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! has already been predicted over a week before the finale.
Danny Jones, aged 38, initially regarded as the likely winner, continues to be favored in the reality TV competition, now standing at odds of 10/3, following his impressive performance that left viewers at home impressed.
Even though Danny has a substantial fan base, it’s worth noting that one contestant has experienced an unexpected rise in popularity recently, closing the gap with the McFly member.
Reverend Richard Coles has moved up significantly, now standing as the second most likely contender at odds of 10/3. This advancement has resulted in a shift, pushing Maura Higgins down to 9/1 and Coleen Rooney further back at 16/1.
Over the past two days, Coral’s John Hill shared with TopMob that The Reverend Richard Coles has been the most frequently chosen contestant in our I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! betting pool.
It appears that viewers are growing fond of him, and should his popularity persist, he could potentially dethrone Danny Jones as the front-runner in the outright market.
Coleen, a fan favorite all through the series, has seen a decrease in her chances and is now ranked fourth as the potential winner of the show.
On Tuesday, the main ITV program found itself embroiled in a heated dispute, with them asserting that Danny had previously been selected as the victor.
Viewers of the show believe the broadcaster may have chosen this season’s winner prematurely, as one contestant seems to be receiving undue favoritism compared to the others.
In this part of the program, participants faced a daring task inside the Freight Bus. Here, famous personalities found themselves surrounded by small creatures as they gathered coins that could later be traded for premium goods.
However, even though the assortment included various items such as apples and what seemed like a golden gown, Danny received his guitar that bore drawings made by his kids instead.
Fans couldn’t help but notice the apparent imbalance in the selection of gifts, leading them to express their opinions on X (previously known as Twitter).
It seems unfair to me that while the other campmates received pieces of assorted trash, Danny got a guitar with his sons’ writing on it instead. This appears unfair to me.
It appears that Danny is highly likely to take the victory, as he’s been handed a guitar while others received peculiar outfits.
‘So Maura got an apple and Danny got a guitar? Favouritism right there.’
Additionally, not only ITV viewers but also Danny’s mother, Kathy, believe he will be named the winner of the show, as she foresaw him becoming the “King of the Jungle.
The families of the celebrities arrived in Brisbane on Tuesday ahead of the evictions coming up.
Upon landing at the airport, Kathy contemplated Danny’s emotional journey through the jungle up until that point.
She shared with The Mirror, “I found myself laughing at him with a snake in his pants one moment, only to be in tears the next day.
‘It got me a bit. I am so proud of him… I think he could win, and do it for the North.’
She also told TopMob: ‘Danny’s amazing, he’s doing amazing. I loved the snake down his trousers and it’s really unusual of him not to wash his pants for three days, he’s usually very hygienic.
‘He’s the nicest man I know apart from Harry, Danny and Tom [McFly] they’re also really nice.’
The mother of two shared that she hasn’t received any personal messages from her bandmates, but she has been enjoying their videos on social media platforms and finds them delightful.
Her arrival in Australia occurred following the emotional scene on Wednesday’s episode where Danny tearfully discussed his longstanding anxiety issues. (Alternatively, After Wednesday’s emotional episode, Danny shared his lifelong anxiety struggles and she arrived in Australia.)
Danny found himself deeply moved while conversing about his mental health with his fellow campers, disclosing that he’s been undergoing therapy since he turned 19.
Audience members highly commended the celebrity for his candidness and transparency regarding his mental wellbeing, following Oti Mabuse, a 34-year-old contestant on Strictly, who emphasized the significance of males expressing their emotions openly.
During the very emotional chat, Oti was brought to tears as she revealed her half-brother Neo committed suicide and admitted he probably would still be alive if ‘he had spoken to someone about what he was feeling’.
Danny mentioned that one of his tattoos reads “Don’t Worry, Be Happy.” He clarified this means he tends to worry a lot, but it serves as a reminder for him to work on finding happiness despite his concerns.
‘I’ve been in therapy since I was 19 for anxiety.’
Danny recalled a moment where he had a panic attack on live TV while being interviewed.
When Jane questioned if his anxiety stemmed from his childhood or his time in the band, he replied: ‘I believe I managed to evade it for a considerable period.’
