Jameela Jamil exclaims that liberals ‘made 10,000 mistakes’ and ‘drove their own support away’ as she outlines the errors of the left as Trump is elected president in landslide win
As a long-time observer of American politics and a follower who has seen my fair share of elections, I must say that Jameela Jamil’s analysis hits home for me. Her insightful perspective on the mistakes made by the liberals during the election is a reflection of what many have been thinking but haven’t had the courage to voice.
In simpler terms, Jameela Jamil shared her thoughts on the political debate following Donald Trump’s re-election as U.S. President on Wednesday, which he won by a significant margin in the Republican primaries.
Instead of dwelling on Donald Trump’s win, the actress and political advocate expressed her opinion that it was the blunders by the liberal party that lost them the election.
Instead of posting a single shocked emoticon on her Instagram feed, Jameela ventured into the comment section, expressing her strong sentiments by stating that the left has inadvertently pushed their own supporters away.
In response to a comment that read, “America really hates women,” Jameela replied, “Indeed, it exhibits such sentiment… yet there are also numerous errors committed by the liberals.
Explaining the mistakes she began: ‘RBG should have stepped down earlier. Biden should have stepped down earlier. The White House and the media shouldn’t have covered up his obvious cognitive decline.
For eight years, the liberal party has been progressively seen as more distant, contradictory, exclusionary, and punitive by many. Their actions have pushed away supporters who once stood with them.
In regards to the Middle East, they disregarded the opinions of their constituents. The liberal media was deceptive, eroding public trust, only to later be exposed.
‘Democrats mandated C0v1d vaccines, dismantling “my body my choice” rhetoric. They spoke down to the very people they most needed to convert at every chance over the past 8 years.’
She commented about Kamala Harris’ campaign: “They selected a candidate who failed to capitalize on numerous chances to discuss policy in interviews, instead opting to focus on the fact that they aren’t Biden. Not only did they reject both K and her VP for Joe Rogan’s show – arguably the most influential platform globally for reaching out to a specific demographic.
Individuals with substantial influence chose to endorse and rally support for voting on the actual election day.
In their confidence, many liberals believed they could outperform him. This led several to endorse an independent candidate who, unfortunately, lacked the support needed to challenge a politician with a dedicated following spanning over nine years.
Instead of welcoming young males into their ranks, they chose to disparage and stereotype them, allowing them to be swayed by extremist views. This pattern persists, as you will see if you keep reading.
Instead of attributing Kamala’s loss to race and misogyny, Jameela argued that the primary factor might have been a deficiency in policy proposals.
She continued: ‘Yes, America has a misogyny issue. Yes America has a race issue. But it will be disingenuous for any of us to boil it all down to that, and such binary thinking is what got us here in the first place.
In my commitment, I prioritized racial and gender issues above policy and the welfare of the working class. I held myself to high standards, expecting the same level of honesty and transparency that I required from those in opposition.
I’m shattered inside, yet I’m boiling with rage too. We possessed the means and chance to prevent this from happening.
On her Instagram Story, she posted a detailed message clarifying why she decided to speak up and emphasized the significance of taking responsibility for one’s actions.
She added: ‘I say all this because IF we even get another chance now that we have ushered a potential autocrat into power.. we have a lot more housekeeping to do. There is agency in accountability.’
As a passionate advocate for progressive ideals, it’s become evident to me that our current strategies—self-destructive, punitive, arrogant, condescending, and often hypocritical in nature—have fallen short. It’s high time we figure out how to come together, unite, and strategize effectively for meaningful change.
For quite some time now, I’ve advocated for change, realizing that my past political and social discourse may have caused harm.
‘I have changed. We can all change. We must change. Now.’
