Matt LeBlanc's career change and how the new venture helped him heal after  Matthew Perry's death

I cannot help but feel deeply saddened by the untimely death of Matthew Perry, a man who brought so much joy and laughter into our lives through his iconic role as Chandler Bing on Friends. As someone who grew up watching this beloved sitcom, I have to say that his performance had a profound impact on my own life, helping me navigate the complexities of relationships, friendships, and adulthood.

Although it appears Matt LeBlanc may not be ready to retire from acting, DailyMail.com unveils an exclusive: the Friends star is immersed in a different venture – managing a top-tier used car dealership located in Los Angeles.

The seasoned actor, aged 57, is openly fond of automobiles and presented the British television program Top Gear until 2018, at which point he returned to the United States to devote more attention to his family.

Today, it’s been revealed that LeBlanc has taken a significant stride in demonstrating his commitment to his words by financially backing RPM Motorcars, a company renowned for their work with exotic automobiles.

The Sherman Oaks-based business specializes in providing top-notch, unique, high-end, and sports vehicles suitable for all, as stated on their website, and they are particularly skilled at locating rare models for their affluent customers.

One of those clients may have been his close friend Matthew Perry, with whom he shared a love of top-tier rides.

Business documents filed in Delaware show LeBlanc has part-owned the business since October 2020.

DailyMail.com exclusively shares images capturing the veteran actor diligently working on the car dealership set, with his unique $149,000 black Mercedes G-Wagon spotted outside as well.

It seems that, aside from LeBlanc himself, his daughter Marina, aged 20, has also been actively involved in the business. She’s been seen at the dealership on several occasions recently, sometimes donning a company-emblem grayscale shirt.

Marina is the sole child born to LeBlanc during his marriage with Melissa McKnight, which lasted from 2003 to 2006.

On Wednesday and Thursday as well, she was spotted tagging along with her father at the dealership for second-hand high-end vehicles, during DailyMail.com’s visit to the establishment.

Upon being asked for a statement, LeBlanc chose to evade our reporter by hiding away, however, his involvement within the business was verified by the staff.

The revelation of LeBlanc’s new venture comes amid recent reports that he is taking a break from the spotlight.

Since the Friends HBO reunion special in 2021, the television personality has been absent from any movie or TV productions. Earlier, he mentioned that he needed a break, referring to it as taking some time off.

His last acting gig was as Adam Burns on CBS series, Man with a Plan, between 2016 and 2020.

LeBlanc has had a difficult year following Perry’s death a little over a year ago following a ketamine overdose in his hot tub.

Enthusiast of high-performance vehicles named Perry was the proud owner of a stunning assemblage that encompassed a Porsche Panamera, an Audi R8, a BMW 6 Series, and a Lincoln Navigator.

Months prior to his passing, the late Friends actor was captured driving a brand-new, custom-made 2023 Porsche Taycan 4S, a vehicle that looked as if it belonged in his personal collection, last year.

Additionally, he boasted ownership of a sleek Aston Martin Vantage V8 Roadster worth approximately $145,000, and on occasions, he could be seen elegantly navigating the streets of Los Angeles in this eye-catching ride.

In a heartbreaking turn of events, Perry, who tragically died at the age of 54 on October 28, 2023, was known for his honesty about his struggles with addiction. He had proudly announced that he had achieved sobriety.

After his passing, toxicology tests discovered significantly high levels of a drug often utilized by vets for large animals’ tranquilization within his body.

In August, two physicians faced federal accusations and were taken into custody for providing the drug to him. Additionally, the physician’s assistant, Kenneth Iwamasa, was also apprehended due to his involvement in the actor’s unfortunate demise.

41-year-old Jasveen Sangha, a British native often referred to as the ‘Ketamine Queen’, is also under investigation for providing Perry with unauthorized forms of the drug. Similarly, Erik Fleming, a minor drug dealer aged 54, allegedly served as an intermediary between Iwanasa and Sangha in these transactions.

As a fervent admirer, I can’t help but share this update: Legends like Iwanasa, Fleming, and Mark Chavez, a physician based in San Diego, aged 54, have agreed to plea bargains regarding the tragic demise of Perry. Meanwhile, Salvador Plasencia, a doctor from LA, has boldly denied the accusations against him and remains free on bail.

The individual known as Sangha, considered potentially evasive due to her British nationality and external ties, continues to be incarcerated at the Los Angeles Metropolitan Detention Center until additional court procedures are completed.

After hearing about Perry’s tragic accidental overdose, LeBlanc expressed his deep sorrow on social media, overwhelmed by the loss.

Together with a collection of pictures featuring them as a duo, he penned: “Farewell, Matthew… With regret, I bid you adieu.

“I must admit, the moments we spent together rank as some of the best times I’ve ever experienced. Sharing the stage with you and being able to call you a friend has truly been a privilege.

‘I will always smile when I think of you and I’ll never forget you. Never.’

He added: ‘Spread your wings and fly brother you’re finally free. Much love. And I guess you’re keeping the 20 bucks you owe me.’

On November 3, 2023, all five principal actors from Friends gathered at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park for Perry’s family funeral.
