Coleen Rooney looked chic in navy workout gear as she left a beauty spa in Cheshire on Monday.
Coleen Rooney, 39, a wife and mother of four – Kai, 16, Klay, 11, Kit, 8, and Cass, 6 – whose husband Wayne is a retired footballer, wore long leggings with a zip-up sweater.
The mom, who has four children, wore a navy blue, faux-fur jacket by Adanola over her workout clothes. She finished the look with grey New Balance sneakers and white socks.
Coleen visited the spa without wearing any makeup, and she pulled her brown hair back into a simple ponytail.
This appearance follows closely after her husband, Wayne, a retired footballer aged 40, spoke openly about his recent health issues.
The football manager has always kept his hearing loss private, and it’s unknown exactly when or how it began.
He made his announcement after requesting the BBC film crew place an earpiece in his right ear instead of his left.
He asked if he could use his good ear, pointing to it. He explained that he used to manage the communication system, but he’s deaf in his left ear, which makes things difficult.
‘So when it’s too loud I struggle to hear what Kelly Cates [MOTD presenter] or whoever is saying.’
The cause of Wayne’s hearing loss in his left ear is unknown, but he suffered an injury requiring 45 stitches after a fall on a yacht in 2009 while in the French Riviera.
The commentator started working with Match of the Day this summer and reportedly earns £800,000 annually. He also hosts a podcast for the BBC.
After managing Plymouth Argyle, Derby County, DC United, and Birmingham City, he’s now moving into broadcasting.
Since retiring from coaching, Wayne has often talked about how much he enjoys being a sports commentator. He even appeared on Amazon Prime Video last season to provide analysis for Champions League games.
In an interview with talkSPORT last June, he suggested he was leaning towards media opportunities rather than taking on a management role in the near future.
He explained that he’s currently working on some television projects and is enjoying them. He plans to continue focusing on that work for now.
Wayne and Coleen recently took their yearly, luxurious vacation to Barbados with their four sons.
Coleen and Wayne were joined on vacation by Coleen’s parents, Colette and Tony, along with several of Wayne’s former football teammates – Jonny, Michael Carrick (now the manager of Manchester United), and Darren Gibson.
The couple often visit Barbados and own a luxurious five-bedroom villa worth £5 million. It features an infinity pool with a connecting bridge and can comfortably accommodate up to fourteen people.
They bought the property in 2010 and rent out the holiday home when they are not in residence.
