‘PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie’ First Trailer Unleashes Prehistoric Dinosaur Sequel

PAW Patrol has become a hugely popular animated series for kids over the past 13 years. Following 11 seasons on TV and two successful movies that earned over $350 million worldwide, a third film is now in the works. Officially titled PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie, the sequel was announced in February 2026 and promises to be the pups’ most exciting adventure yet.

The new PAW Patrol movie, directed by Cal Brunker and written with Bob Barlen, is the first sequel since 2023’s ‘PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie.’ That previous film gave the pups superpowers and featured them saving the day from Mayor Humdinger and the villainous Victoria Vance, who tried to steal those powers. Now, the team is gearing up for their next adventure, and we’re getting our first good look at the upcoming movie through promotional events.

Paramount Pictures has unveiled the trailer for PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie, the latest film based on the popular Nickelodeon series. The trailer follows 10-year-old Ryder and his team of heroic pups after their spaceship crashes on a long-lost island. They soon discover the island is inhabited by dinosaurs, which they excitedly call “the greatest discovery in the world!”

Ryder and the pups discover an erupting volcano and team up to rescue the dinosaurs! The new movie trailer also features an original song called “Bottle Up” by the Backstreet Boys.

Just days after the first photos appeared, the trailer for the new movie is here! It shows the puppies arriving on a dinosaur-filled island and meeting the local creatures. We also get to hear some of the actors – including McKenna Grace, Carter Young, Jennifer Hudson, Paris Hilton, Snoop Dogg, Jameela Jamil, and Terry Crews – as they join this popular film series.

In the coming weeks and months, Paramount will share more details about the new PAW Patrol movie and its promotional events. The film will once again feature the puppies facing off against their biggest enemy, Mayor Humdinger. Though some questions remain, this movie is predicted to be another big success for the PAW Patrol franchise.

PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie is set to debut in theaters on Aug. 14, 2026.
