Abbie Chatfield forces Kyle Sandilands to apologise live on-air over his ‘slut-shaming’ comments in VERY awkward interview…. and Brittany Hockley is thrown under the bus for the feud
As a devoted fan of Abbie Chatfield, I must say, it’s a breath of fresh air to witness such a powerful stand against toxic behavior and slut-shaming. The courage she displays, especially when facing those who have wronged her, is truly inspiring.
In an uncomfortable interview, Abby Chatfield successfully compelled Kyle Sandilands to issue an apology for his derogatory remarks about women, which he had made on The Kyle and Jackie O Show two years prior.
On Wednesday, Kyle and Jackie O Henderson, their co-host, interviewed Adam Hyde, Abbie’s boyfriend, on their radio program. They inquired about his romantic situation during the conversation.
Kyle acknowledged that he believes Abbie might not be fond of him, adding that there seems to have been a misunderstanding or mistake.
Jackie then suggested the radio duo call Abbie live on air to ‘clear the air’.
Following my phone call with Adam, I shared with Kyle that he had shared something surprising. Despite my usual optimism, it seemed that he hadn’t taken a liking to me.
Abby clarified, “What you said about me wasn’t pleasant. Your words were thoughtless and harmful not just to me, but also to any women who might have been in the car with us when you suggested negatively about dating multiple people.
‘There seemed to be a strong undercurrent of shaming women as being promiscuous, which left me feeling uneasy. If you didn’t mean it that way, I understand, but the overall discussion made me uncomfortable.’
‘I never didn’t like you,’ Kyle clarified.
He implied that the mistake was Brittany Hockley’s doing. Previously, he had admired her co-host greatly, but as for Brittany, he couldn’t vouch for her opinions. (This paraphrase maintains the original meaning while using simpler and more conversational language.)
After that, Abby persisted in making Kyle apologize for his behavior, and then she asked him to mimic her in an incredibly uncomfortable situation.

Following the confirmation from the American rapper (known as Matthew Raymond Hauri in real life) that he had a date with Abbie, the couple subsequently shared their thoughts on the matter.
After the musician mentioned they were planning to meet again, Kyle replied casually: “Well, you seem to have plans with everybody else too. Let’s join the queue, buddy!
‘I think we’ve got a date planned,’ added Gravy, to which Brittany responded: ‘I have no doubt.’
In an episode of her podcast “It’s A Lot,” an angry Abbie responded by accusing the duo of propagating ‘disparaging language towards women.’
She stated, “The concern Kyle and Brittany seem to have regarding me is that I discuss sexuality without embarrassment, and they appear to believe this necessarily implies constant, daily sexual activity.
She mentioned, “In reality, what I mean is that I seem not to feel the same level of embarrassment as they do, which might be why they’re attributing their own shame to me.
Feel free to express your opinions about me, however, let’s avoid spreading harmful and disrespectful comments towards women, particularly on the most popular radio program in the nation.
Apart from that, she too expressed a long message on Instagram, stating her feelings of deep disappointment upon learning that Kyle and Brittany had made derogatory comments about her.
