The Block's Maddy and Charlotte make massive error in their guest bathroom - can you spot it?

As a seasoned viewer of The Block and a renovation enthusiast myself, I must say this year’s competition has been nothing short of intriguing. The latest episode brought about a heated discussion on the placement of Maddy and Charlotte’s toilet, which, frankly, is not something one usually discusses at the dinner table!

During the latest episode of The Block on Sunday, Maddy and Charlotte faced criticism regarding the positioning of their bathroom fixture, namely the toilet.

The pair completed their guest bathroom and were happy with the result – but judge Marty Fox was unimpressed.

He pointed out that the toilet was right by the door and was the first thing a guest sees.

He mentioned that having the toilet immediately visible upon entering, rather than concealed behind the vanity, seems to me like it’s the reverse of what should be done.

Fellow judge Shaynna Blaze agreed that the placing was suspect.

The pair spent $19,756 on their guest ensuite – and the judges did have some positive comments.

‘I do love their actual sconces there, they’re beautiful’ Shaynna added.

I greatly appreciate the unique style the girls have developed, and it brings me joy to see them discovering their individual identities. This is the first place where their true selves are truly shining through.

‘There’s really not a lot to fault,’ judge Darren Palmer insisted, despite the problematic loo.

Consequently, the repercussions from discovering that a team on The Block has past renovation expertise have persisted.

As a die-hard fan, I can’t help but share my excitement over the recent revelation! The newbies, Maddy and Charlotte, who unexpectedly joined the cast following Jesse and Paige’s dramatic exit, have been unmasked in footage discovered by Haydn’s wife, Chelsea. It’s like a dream come true to finally know more about these intriguing characters!

In a building company’s advertisement, we see a duo confessing that instead of being accountants as claimed to their fellow Blockheads, they are actually house flippers.

And on Sunday’s episode, Haydn decided to grill the two young women about the footage.

‘I was watching videos of you girls last night,’ he said.

‘I don’t know how they found that. How did they put two and two together,’ they said.

Haydn then asked if the girls were the ambassadors for the company, to which they answered no.

‘Yeah I think they danced around it a bit,’ Haydn told producers later.

It appears they’ve been dishonest about their origins, their past experiences, and possibly other aspects as well.

The Blockheads last week responded to the revelations.

To TV Week, some contestants openly criticized their fellow competitors, expressing feelings of being let down or deceived.

‘They flat out lied! They told us they were accountants – they didn’t mention they’d flipped houses,’ Haydn said.

‘They asked for advice on how to do things within a build, yet they obviously knew it all.’

In simpler terms, Chelsea Haydn found a video of Maddy and Charlotte on Google, and her partner in the Blockhead group, Ricky, shared similar concerns that the Sydney sisters might be benefiting from an unjust edge.

The plumber, age 34, stated that he and his partner haven’t collaborated on flipping houses yet. He mentioned that it requires several weeks to understand one another’s abilities when it comes to renovations.

Regardless of the opposition they faced, the sisters remained resolute in their decision to keep their prior experiences private.

Maddy, at age 25, stated, “We were always truthful. If anyone had inquired about our background, we would have disclosed it, but they never did. It wasn’t our responsibility to volunteer the details.
