Greg Davies’ returning BBC series confirms release date

As a gamer who’s spent countless hours navigating the twisted plots of crime-solving games, I can confidently say that Greg Davies’ “The Cleaner” is like stepping into my favorite immersive gaming world. The third season’s release date feels like Christmas come early for me!

Greg Davies’ returning BBC series The Cleaner has confirmed its release date.

As reported by The Radio Times, the third season of the crime-comedy series will start airing on both BBC One and the BBC iPlayer from Friday, October 4th, beginning at 9:30 PM.

Davis is responsible for both producing and appearing on a TV series that follows Paul ‘Wicky’ Wickstead, a crime scene cleaner, as he encounters some truly peculiar individuals during the course of his job.

In addition to announcing the release date, the BBC has also shared a summary for Season 3 of “The Cleaner“: Wicky interacts with the families of victims, their colleagues, neighbors, and sometimes even the perpetrators themselves in certain cases.

“And because he’s a sociable type, he sometimes gossips more than he cleans…”

In the third season, Wicky journeys to Northern Ireland for two episodes, where he tackles the task of restoring a lighthouse tainted by a grisly incident. During this trip, he also renews acquaintances with an old buddy.

In a fresh and engaging manner, each episode of “The Cleaner” features a new cast member as guest stars, and this pattern is set to continue in the upcoming third season.

This gathering features several distinguished actors, such as Steve Pemberton from “Inside No 9”, Sharon Rooney known for her role in “Barbie”, Ben Willbond hailing from “Ghosts”, Conleth Hill recognized for his work in “Game of Thrones”, Chaneil Kular best known for “Sex Education”, Derek Griffiths famous for “Unforgotten”, Gemma Whelan celebrated for her role in “Killing Eve” and Paula Wilcox, a familiar face from “Coronation Street”.

As a hardcore gamer, I’m thrilled to dive back into the gory world again! It seems our creators have cooked up some truly eccentric personalities for Wicky to encounter in this new season.

I’m excited to don work attire that might get sweaty and sport the earring my nieces find embarrassing.

Supporters of the comedian are currently enjoying his appearances on the latest season of Channel 4’s “Taskmaster.” In this show, he teams up with Little Alex Horne to challenge contestants including Andy Zaltzman, Babatunde Aléshé, Emma Sidi, Jack Dee, and Rosie Jones with various tasks.

You can now stream the first two seasons of “The Cleaner” on BBC iPlayer. The third season will make its debut on Friday, October 4, airing at 9:30 PM.
