Okay, so I recently checked out The Red Cathedral, and it’s a really cool turn-based strategy game. You can play solo or with up to three friends! It’s based on a popular board game, and the story is awesome – basically, Tsar Ivan wants a cathedral built, and we’re all competing builders trying to impress him. It’s all about managing your resources and trying to outbuild the other players to get the Tsar’s favor. Pretty engaging stuff!
Rebecca Yarros’s Empyrean series is a major hit in the fantasy book world. The first book, Fourth Wing, came out in 2023 and quickly became incredibly popular, largely due to its success on TikTok’s book community, BookTok. A television adaptation, produced by Michael B. Jordan’s Outlier Society, is planned for May 2026.
Cody Johnson received the award, and while he’s a talented artist, Lainey Wilson truly deserved it, having had a much stronger year. It’s baffling how she wasn’t even nominated for the top prize.
