ScreenRant has a sneak peek from episode 7 of Star Trek: Starfleet Academy, featuring Captain Nahla Ake (Holly Hunter) and Caleb Mir (Sandro Rosta). Written by Alex Taub and Eric Anthony Glover, and directed by Andi Armaganian, the episode, titled “Ko’Zeine,” continues the story after the dramatic events of the previous installment.

The sixth episode of Star Trek: Starfleet Academy had a devastating outcome for Captain Ake and the Academy. Nus Braka, played by Paul Giamatti, cleverly tricked Nahla and Starfleet, managing to steal highly classified weapons from a United Federation of Planets space station. This cunning plan led to the death of Vulcan cadet B’Avi (Alexander Eling) and left Tarima Sadal (Zoë Steiner) in a comatose state.

A new clip from ScreenRant of the Star Trek: Starfleet Academy episode, “Episode 7,” shows Captain Ake in a disagreement with Caleb Mir. The argument centers around Caleb wanting to stay at the Academy during the mid-semester break instead of going with his host family. Caleb, upset about a recent attack on Nus Braka, also playfully criticizes the Chancellor’s packing. You can watch the clip below.

Caleb Mir and Captain Ake argue while she prepares for time off, and their disagreement connects to the ongoing mystery of Caleb’s mother, Anisha Mir (Tatiana Maslany). Nahla promises she’s still looking for Anisha, but the return of Nus Braka has reopened old wounds for Caleb, who has been searching for his mother unsuccessfully for fifteen years. It’s no surprise, then, that Caleb doesn’t want to spend his holiday with a host family in Dakar.

The latest episode of Star Trek: Starfleet Academy, episode 7, will likely feature Genesis Lythe (Bella Shepard) and Darem Reymi (George Hawkins) in a story about a hopeful captain and an aristocratic cadet. The episode, titled “Ko’Zeine,” may also give viewers a look at the home worlds of the Dar-Sha and Khionian species. You can watch it on Paramount+ starting Thursday, February 19th.
