Did the bridge explode in New Eden in Snowpiercer Season 4, Episode 7?

Instead, let’s examine the narrative of New Eden. It turned out that the Animal Squad wasn’t excavating graves as initially thought. Rather, they were placing explosives. Their objective is to trigger an avalanche, thereby entombing the town of New Eden.

Understanding there might be a bomb on the bridge, Javi and others prevented Ruth from crossing Big Alice over the railroad tracks. They were held up on the opposite side as Javi and his team investigated, eventually discovering a bomb on the bridge.

Javi successfully cooled down the parts, yet it appeared uncertain if this would suffice to avert the blast. As Ruth and Till watched from afar, they saw the bomb detonate with a distant boom, leading to the question of whether the cooling process was conducted under controlled conditions or not.

There’s uncertainty about whether the bridge exploded and if Javi managed to survive. I can only pray that we won’t experience another tragic loss quite soon, given how raw our feelings are from Ben’s demise.

Nima was the one to start the ice age in Snowpiercer

Towards the conclusion of the episode, it became evident that the Animal Squad hadn’t been loyal to Milius all along. Instead, they appeared to be carrying out Nima’s instructions, and his intentions seem ominous, to say the least. It’s uncertain if he truly aims to save the world when we discover he was the one who inadvertently initiated the Ice Age.

It was the first version of his compound that created the permanent freeze. He’s been working on Gemini for 15 years, but Melanie pointed out that they’ve only been on Snowpiercer for nine years. Wilford confirmed that Nima’s Gemini made the big freeze happen.

It’s plausible that he was striving to address the escalating issue of climate change, but his efforts backfired severely. Therefore, it’s possible that he wants a solution, yet he disregards Melanie’s guidance by opting not to delay its deployment now. Is there any chance that Nima will ultimately destroy all remaining traces of humanity in Snowpiercer?

Layton, Josie, and Liana left out in the cold in Snowpiercer

The biggest shock of the whole episode was the ending. Wilford didn’t want Melanie and Layton on the train, but they managed to get on anyway. While Melanie was with Nima, Wilford was able to deal with Layton, who was with Josie and Liana in a carriage.

Wilford detached Layton’s compartment. Now, only three are stranded outside as Snowpiercer speeds away. It seems challenging for them to survive now, considering their situation. Can they make it back to the silo before freezing, or has their fate been sealed?

This episode left us with many questions as multiple lives are on the line in Snowpiercer Season 4.
