Michelle Keegan jokes she’s ‘patiently waiting’ for her Oasis tickets to arrive after Liam Gallagher ‘bonded’ with her over their mutual love of sausage dogs
As a die-hard fan of Oasis since their debut, I can hardly contain my excitement as the band seems to be on the brink of a long-awaited reunion! The news that Noel and Liam have been having late-night conversations and are considering performances at Wembley Stadium and even Glastonbury Festival is music to my ears.
On Tuesday, Michelle Keegan shared an old video on her Instagram stories, showcasing her and Liam Gallagher sharing affection towards their common admiration for dachshunds (sausage dogs).
The actress, aged 37, playfully informed her 7.3 million fans on social media that she’s eagerly anticipating the delivery of her Oasis concert tickets, in preparation for the highly awaited Oasis reunion.
On The Jonathan Ross Show, it was Michelle and the 51-year-old rocker who talked about their canine companions.
During the performance, Liam remarked that sausage dogs can be rather boisterous. He commented, “Sausage dogs are no different; they’re quite lively, aren’t they? I happen to own a couple of them.”
In surprise upon learning that he has dogs, Michelle asked him, “Aren’t those dachshunds yours?” To this, he simply replied, “Yes.”

Later, she inquired about the names of Liam’s dogs, to which he responded: “They are Ruby and Bridget. I reside near Hampstead Heath, and one day Gene brought home a stray, and he named it Sparkle.”
‘It was about that big (makes a small gesture with his hands) and I’d have to take it out on the Heath and it would get lost in the bushes and I’m stood in the bushes going Sparkle.’ The crowd laughed.
Michelle titled her old memory post as: “The day I befriended Liam Gallagher, both of us sharing our love for dachshunds… I’m just keeping my fingers crossed for the arrival of my Oasis concert tickets now (wink emoticon)”
Following news about their late-night discussions, Michelle’s post suggests that Noel Gallagher, aged 57, has agreed to reassemble Oasis, apparently influenced by an upfront payment of £50 million.
Noel once claimed it would take ‘half a billion pounds’ for him to reunite Oasis.
However, a decade later, the financial allure of the band’s return has grown so substantial that he is now willing to participate in the reunion.
It’s being whispered that the icons have plans for multiple shows at Wembley Stadium in London and they’re expected to take the main stage at the Glastonbury Festival in 2025.
However, as reported by music industry experts, the ongoing sibling rivalry between the brothers seems to have merely cooled down, with financial motivations being the primary driver for their highly anticipated reunion.
According to a source, it was the prospect of receiving an extremely large sum of money that ultimately persuaded Noel to entertain the idea of performing alongside Liam again.
