Sofia Richie welcomes her second child with Elliot Grainge as they choose a classic German name

Sofia Richie, 27, has welcomed her second child.

The couple announced the joyful news on Instagram on Wednesday, revealing their baby was born on March 18th.

Selena Gomez and her husband, Elliot Grainge, recently welcomed their first child, a baby boy named Henry Cecil Grainge.

Henry is a classic German name which means ‘ruler of the home.’

The couple already have daughter Eloise Samantha Grainge, who will turn age two in May.

Richie shared a sweet photo of Henry and Eloise online, and captioned it ‘Loves of my life.’

Richie, son of Lionel Richie and brother of Nicole Richie, and Grainge shared in October that they were expecting a baby boy.

The model was last seen on March 9 in Beverly Hills as she went to dinner.

Grainge is a record executive and entrepreneur originally from Britain, but now based in America, and is well-known in the music business.

He’s the CEO of Atlantic Music Group and the founder of the independent label 10K Projects.

He grew up surrounded by music, as his father is the CEO of Universal Music Group, Sir Lucian Grainge, and his uncle, now deceased, founded the Ensign record label.

Grainge launched 10K Projects in 2016 and has signed artists like Trippie Redd, Surfaces and Aitch.

In 2024, Richie shared that she found it difficult to conceal the scars left by hormonal acne she experienced while pregnant.

The fashion model became a first-time mom in May 2024 when she welcomed her daughter Eloise.

She mentioned a few months later that she developed skin issues and has been searching for new beauty tips to improve them.

She shared with Vogue that she’s been working on techniques to conceal the scars left by her hormonal acne and the discoloration caused by her pregnancy, something she’s found particularly challenging.

Richie has talked about dealing with skin problems during her pregnancy, saying it felt like she was reliving teenage struggles all over again.

She shared with Harper’s Bazaar that she struggled with acne and rosacea as a teenager, and it came back during her pregnancy, making her feel like she was dealing with those issues all over again. She wasn’t prepared for this, as she hadn’t anticipated skin problems being part of the changes that come with being pregnant.

I’ve really changed my approach to beauty lately. My main focus now is achieving healthy skin, and that means using the right skincare and makeup to help me get there.
