Emma Stone’s new movie confirms Disney+ release date – and it’s soon

As a cinephile with an affinity for the quirky and unconventional, I can hardly contain my excitement about Emma Stone’s upcoming film, “Kinds of Kindness.” Having been fortunate enough to have attended Cannes Film Festival multiple times, I’ve witnessed firsthand the transformative power of cinema, and this movie promises to be no exception.

Emma Stone’s new movie has received an official release date on Disney+.

The show titled “Kinds of Kindness” is set to make its premiere exclusively on a UK streaming platform starting August 30th. Simultaneously, American viewers can catch this dark comedy on Hulu from the same day.

The movie can be characterized as a “tale in three parts,” weaving together three distinct yet subtly intertwined narratives.

1. In the initial narrative, we find a man who finds himself with no other option but to seize command over his personal journey.

The third tale revolves around a woman who is resolute in her search for an individual endowed with unique talents, fated to grow into a remarkable spiritual guide.

The film, titled “Poor Things,” is helmed by the talented director Yorgos Lanthimos. This highly anticipated production boasts an impressive ensemble of actors, featuring the likes of Stone, Jesse Plemons, Willem Dafoe, Margaret Qualley, Hong Chau, Joe Alwyn, Mamoudou Athie, and Hunter Schafer.

I have always been a huge fan of independent films, and this year’s Cannes Film Festival was no exception. One movie that truly stood out for me was “Kinds of Kindness,” which made its debut in cinemas on June 28th. The performance of the main actor, Plemons, was nothing short of spectacular. His portrayal of a complex and deeply emotional character was both raw and captivating, leaving a lasting impression on me long after the credits rolled. I was thrilled to see that my initial impression was shared by the judges at Cannes, as they awarded him the Best Actor award this year. It’s always exciting when an indie film takes center stage at such a prestigious festival and reminds us all of the power of storytelling and the talent that exists in our industry. I can’t wait to see what Plemons does next!

In their four-star review of “Kinds of Kindness“, Digital Spy commented: “You might not fully grasp everything on your initial viewing, or possibly even on subsequent viewings, and Lanthimos expects you to figure out the overall meaning yourself.”

Kinds of Kindness will stream from August 30 on Disney+ in the UK and on Hulu in the US.
