As a die-hard fan who’s followed George Clooney’s illustrious career since his ER days, I can’t help but feel a twinge of empathy for the man. Here’s a guy who’s starred in some of the most iconic films of the millennium, yet he’s still not getting the recognition he deserves from certain quarters – like Quentin Tarantino, for instance.

George Clooney has expressed mild frustration towards Quentin Tarantino, as the latter has been speaking negatively about him.

In 1996, they co-starred as siblings in Robert Rodriguez’s suspenseful movie “From Dusk ‘Till Dawn,” a film that Tarantino penned during the beginning of his screenwriting journey.

Prior to that, Brad gained recognition for playing the character Doug Ross in the medical series ER, which later propelled him into a thriving acting career in Hollywood. He has since appeared in notable movies like O Brother, Where Art Thou?, One Fine Day, and Out of Sight.

Although they have worked together in the past and Quentin has a distinguished career as a director, it appears that he recently expressed some unfavorable opinions about George. To put it mildly, George does not seem to be pleased by these comments.

During a shared interview with friend Brad Pitt for GQ, Brad expressed: “Recently, Quentin made some remarks about me that slightly annoy me.”

‘He did some interview where he was naming movie stars, and he was talking about you, and somebody else, and then this guy goes, “Well, what about George?” He goes, he’s not a movie star. And then he literally said something like, “Name me a movie since the millennium.” And I was like, “Since the millennium? That’s kind of my whole f***ing career.”‘

During their conversation, it appeared that George’s outburst made his longtime friend break into laughter, as evidenced by him repeatedly saying “Ha ha ha” throughout the interview.

In a persistent state of annoyance towards the director, George continued, “Now I’m saying, alright mate, take a hike. I can deal with his criticism, but he dish out some harsh words, too.”

Despite feeling annoyed, George emphasized his gratitude for working with exceptional directors, remarking that they were fortunate as actors to have such opportunities. He pointed out that the quality of directors and the script of a movie is crucial for success, a lesson he learned from having starred in some less-than-stellar films.
