As a seasoned gamer with a knack for deciphering intricate storylines, I can confidently say that Milius isn’t just playing chess; he’s playing three-dimensional chess! His motives in Snowpiercer Season 4 have been as elusive as a chameleon in a rainforest.
It’s clear that Milius and Nima have different objectives in Snowpiercer Season 4, as Milius appears to be invested in a distinct mission rather than focusing on global warming.
Caution: This post contains spoilers from Snowpiercer Season 4, Episode 4.
As a dedicated fan, I must admit, before Big Alice linked with Snowpiercer, it became crystal clear that we’d fallen into a trap – one skillfully orchestrated by Milius. He’s always managed to stay one move ahead of us all. His ultimate goal? To seize control of Big Alice. Despite our plans to secure Liana and safeguard Big Alice from potential threats, things didn’t go as planned.
The question is why Milius wants Big Alice. What does that train have that Snowpiercer doesn’t?
Is Milius working with Wilford in Snowpiercer Season 4?
It’s clear that Wilford isn’t permanently gone. To start with, he didn’t meet his end in Season 3 as deaths must be depicted on screen. Furthermore, we’ve caught a glimpse of him in the trailer for Snowpiercer Season 4, suggesting a return.
It’s logical for him (Wilford) to collaborate with Milius since they share similar skills or expertise. Similarly, it wouldn’t be surprising if Wilford desired to reclaim Big Alice, as both trains are under his control and past events suggest a desire for retribution on his part. We know that Wilford seeks power, and having people worship him is essential to him. Allowing people to live in New Eden might undermine his position as the sole savior of humanity.
In the throes of Season 3, I found myself in a perilous predicament, seemingly meeting my end. However, fate had other plans, as it seemed that Milius and his Animal Squad stumbled upon me, ensconced within my service cart at some juncture. This encounter transpired amid the chaos of their desperate efforts to construct the track, aimed at bringing Snowpiercer into their sanctuary.
I believe Nima’s stated purpose is genuine – he aims to generate pockets of warm air, essentially restoring a habitable Earth for all. It’s plausible that Milius was initially tasked with launching this project and later encountered Wilford. There might have been an offer from Wilford, perhaps the opportunity or incentive to retrieve Snowpiercer and Big Alice, which seems to be Milius’ current mission.
In my gaming world, I can’t fathom any other motive for Milius coveting Big Alice other than it being a secret gem. Most folks wouldn’t have a clue about this train, let alone its existence! Even the wise Ben was taken aback by its presence, while Melanie was equally surprised to see it operational. The sole way Milius could’ve learned about it would be through someone in the know – and that man is Wilford.
