In a recent interview with TVLine, The Boys showrunner Eric Kripke expressed his disappointment over the cancellation of the spinoff series, Gen V. He clarified that he wasn’t responsible for the decision and actively tried to save the show. Kripke also revealed he had plans to continue the storylines of the characters from Gen V after The Boys concludes.

The film opened at number one and remained there for its second weekend, even with the new release Mortal Kombat II also performing well.

It’s been almost two decades since the final Harry Potter book came out and 15 years since the last movie, yet people are still incredibly interested in the series. Even if the new TV show doesn’t receive great reviews, it’s unlikely to significantly decrease that interest. Other streaming services will need to produce really compelling content to compete.
