Riley Keough cradles daughter Tupelo, 2, during family brunch with husband Ben Smith-Petersen and sisters Finley and Harper, 15

As a dedicated follower of Hollywood royalty and a lifelong student of the human spirit, I find myself deeply moved by the recent public outing of Riley Keough and her family. The granddaughter of Elvis Presley, daughter of Lisa Marie Presley, and wife to Ben Smith-Petersen, Riley exudes an air of resilience that is as captivating as it is inspiring.

Riley Keough was surrounded by family during a rare public outing in Los Angeles on Wednesday.

A 35-year-old actress, known for her recent announcement of book tour dates for her mother Lisa Marie Presley’s posthumous memoir, was spotted enjoying a casual summer brunch with her husband Ben Smith-Petersen, their two-year-old daughter Tupelo, and Riley’s 15-year-old twin sisters Finley and Harper Lockwood. She sported a stylish summer outfit for the occasion.

Elvis Presley’s granddaughter displayed her legs in denim shorts akin to Daisy Duke and a plain white shirt, while she held Tupelo close in her arms, supporting the golden-haired toddler on her hip.

She kept herself discreetly hidden under dark fashionable sunglasses, complementing her laid-back style with comfortable olive green sandals.

Finley and Harper, who are Lisa Marie’s youngest kids and the only child of Michael Lockwood, bore a strong resemblance to each other as they sat close by Ben at the al fresco restaurant.

Clad in identical black hoodies, their dark tresses casually showing, they blended seamlessly as if being two halves of the same whole.

Riley, together with her longtime spouse, Ben (who has won a SAG Award for his work as a stuntman), recently expanded their family by welcoming baby Tupelo through the help of a surrogate.

The actress first met the 32-year-old Australian in 2012 on the set of Mad Max: Fury Road.

He recently reprised his role as Ace Warboy in Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga.

Towards the end of July, Riley unveiled his intentions to embark on a book tour, aiming to promote Lisa Marie’s memoir titled “From Here to the Great Unknown.”

After her mother’s death in January 2023, at the age of 54, Riley significantly contributed to the completion of the book.

On occasion, those who are most renowned may be the least understood. Partake in an exceptional dialogue led by @RileyKeough as she honors her mother Lisa Marie Presley’s remarkable legacy through the publication of their memoir, ‘From Here to the Great Unknown’, announced Random House.

The company also revealed that Riley will be accompanied by a special guest in six cities.

Random House explained that Riley’s narrative encompasses the ‘epic story of American aristocracy, familial connections, the triumphs and tribulations of stardom, romance, sorrow, and the indestructible link shared by a parent and child.’

Kicking off a book tour is actress from Daisy Jones and The Six, starting on October 9 in New York City. After that, there will be additional stops in St. Louis, Nashville, and London.

The Nashville gathering is set to take place at Graceland, while the tour concludes in Los Angeles on October 20th.

Lisa Marie’s personal account chronicles significant hardships she faced, such as the tragic passing of her father, Elvis Presley, in 1977; relocating to Los Angeles alongside her mother, Priscilla Presley; and battles with substance abuse.

Riley completed the book with the aid of recordings her mother made before she passed away.

These tapes featured stories about her childhood at Graceland, her relationship with Riley’s father, Danny Keough, and her marriage to Michael Jackson.

In his previous statement, Riley shared that only a few individuals were fortunate enough to truly understand who his mother was beyond just being Elvis’s daughter.

She expressed, ‘I’m thrilled to unveil my mother now, at her most exposed and truthful, and by this, I fervently wish that readers grow to cherish my mother just as deeply as I have.’
