The recent engagement of Paige Drummond and David Anderson, the daughter of the beloved Pioneer Woman Anne Marie ‘Ree’ Drummond, is no exception.

She posted a picture on her Instagram Story, showing the recently engaged couple, after her fiancé David Anderson had proposed to her (Paige).

In the picture, we see Paige, aged 24, displaying a new, shimmery ring on her left hand’s ring finger. Her fiancé, at that moment, was embracing her with his arms.
Right after the announcement, I, an overjoyed fan, couldn’t help but share the exciting news too! Alex, who is on the brink of becoming a first-time grandmother, is expecting her first child. She shared this wonderful news, along with the heartwarming story of the proposal that took place in Dallas, Texas, on her blog.
Paige reshared her family members’ posts on her Instagram.
She also shared her friends’ posts from their surprise engagement party on the same day.
In the snaps, Paige wore a summer dress with an aptly chosen flowing white skirt.
At her side, Andersen donned a navy blue blazer, white button-down and light wash jeans.
On the same day, Ree shared the news with a post on her popular blog The Pioneer Woman.
She said that she was ‘so relieved’ because she had to keep it a secret for ‘six weeks’ that her soon-to-be son-in-law was planning to propose to Paige.
As a devoted follower, I can share that I myself was taken aback, just like Paige, when we all gathered to partake in the heartwarming spectacle of the couple’s blissful moment. The family was there, fully immersed in the celebration.

I am filled with immense pride as I reflect on my daughter Paige, who has grown into a strong and admirable individual. It’s a testament to both her strength and wisdom, and I can’t help but marvel at the beautiful path she has chosen.

In July, they held a gender reveal party, having marked their third wedding anniversary in May.
Apart from her daughters Alex and Paige, Ree is a mother to three sons: Bryce (21), Jamar (21) and Todd (20).
Growing up on a cattle ranch in Pawhuska, Oklahoma, I have always had a deep appreciation for the hardworking spirit of ranchers and the beauty of the open range. That’s why I was particularly intrigued to learn that Paige, a friend of mine from college days, has moved back home this summer to work alongside her father Ladd as a cattle rancher.
She expressed joy upon having her youngest daughter back home, who graduated from the University of Arkansas. However, she clarified that Paige won’t be residing in her recently constructed house.
“She now resides in our old family home, which used to belong to my in-laws,” she explained. “It’s quite pleasant that the property hasn’t been sold, enabling her to take up residence there and personalize it.”
She shared that Paige started working on the ranch full-time back in January.
She mentioned that she doesn’t plan on speculating or thinking too much about how long she’ll remain there, whether it will just be a phase of her life or if it will last forever, as those are things best left for the future to decide.
I’m delighted that she’s present. She’s the initial child who has returned to dedicate herself fully to the ranch work.
