Kurt Russell says Colorado is his favorite place.
The 75-year-old actor described his and his longtime partner, 80-year-old Goldie Hawn’s, country lifestyle as a complete change of pace from the world of Hollywood.
Russell shared with Fox News that his favorite part of his Colorado home is that Goldie Hawn loves spending time there with their family.
He mentioned his son, Wyatt, and daughter-in-law, Meredith, along with their two sons, explaining that they all currently live in Colorado. He and his wife enjoy visiting them there whenever possible.
The actor also drew parallels between his personal life and the world shown in his new Paramount+ series, The Madison, which was filmed on location in Montana and Texas.
He said: ‘I’d like to be there more.’
The industry professional explained that they’re seeking a different lifestyle and want to spend as much time as possible pursuing it.
Russell told The Wall Street Journal about the home he and Hawn live in together.
He shared that his favorite home is in Old Snowmass – a spacious and beautiful log cabin on a ranch they’ve lived on for just over 40 years.
‘I like to wake up in bed each morning looking at the mountain out back.
I enjoy going to the barn to ride horses. I also love relaxing by the fireplace.
The actor shared that he and Goldie Hawn split their time between various homes, but they often come back to Colorado.
The actor made these comments while promoting the new series created by Taylor Sheridan, which, like the show itself, features a story that shifts between city and country environments.
In a 2022 interview on Live with Kelly and Ryan, Goldie Hawn’s son, Oliver Hudson, also shared details about the estate.
He said: ‘Mom built this house first, and then my stepdad Kurt built the other house.
We lived here for two years back in 1985, and it really feels like stepping back in time. Those curtains, for example, are about 30 years old! Mom doesn’t want to change things, and honestly, that’s kind of nice.
Russell and Hawn have been in a relationship since 1983 and share a blended family.
Their children include Boston Russell, Oliver, Kate Hudson and Wyatt.
Wyatt and Meredith are parents to two children and also have six grandchildren.
