TV star shares the shocking moment her daughter rings the emergency services and says ‘my mum died’ before hanging up
As a seasoned observer of human drama, I find myself captivated by the intriguing tale of Iva Marra and her precocious daughter Milana. This video serves as a stark reminder of how children can sometimes blur the lines between play and reality, especially when it comes to the serious business of emergency services.
A social media personality posted a video capturing the startling instant when their child called for help, informing the emergency responders that their “mother was no longer alive.”
On Instagram, Melbourne resident Iva Marra posted a video on Wednesday that showed an incident where her daughter Milana, who is six years old, secretly dialed the emergency number 000.
As I reminisce, I come across an old video clip where my four-year-old brother, Stefan, and I share a charming moment. In this footage, he’s holding the phone to his ear, pretending to make a call, before I gently take the device from his hands.
She is then heard saying: ’10:45. My mum died. My mum died.’
Glancing at her phone, she promptly inquired, “May we disconnect? I have an appointment coming up,” followed by a quick termination of the conversation.
Later, the video shows a scene where Iva questions Milana about whom she was speaking with on the phone and what they discussed.
Following her confirmation that she’d informed the ambulance about her mother’s passing, Milana began sobbing while detailing her desire to become a physician.
She emotionally expressed: ‘I wished to understand the roles of law enforcement personnel, or in other words, medical professionals. After all, how can I become a doctor if I don’t know what it takes when I grow up?’
Posting the video on Instagram, Iva cautioned her followers against believing Milana’s ‘teary-eyed act’, reminding them of the uncomfortable phone call incident they both experienced.
The star of “The Yummy Mummies,” who often posts about her children alongside her husband Steven Joe Marra, recently reposted an old clip from their past, reminiscing on a funny moment by saying she was traveling down memory lane.
The footage divided fans in the comments as some were shocked she had wasted the ambulance service’s time and wanted to know whether they were called out.
It seems someone ought to understand the significance of emergency services and the gravity of making hoax calls, which unnecessarily consume their valuable time. While she might have been simply playing around and being inquisitive, it’s still inappropriate behavior.
‘Poor you @iva.marra I hope she learned her lesson,’ another said.
When someone inquired about what transpired subsequently, Iva responded by explaining that she had shouted and added that Milana has never attempted to dial 911 as a joke ever since. (Note: In the U.S., the emergency number is “911” instead of “000”.)
Many supporters rallied to Iva’s side, finding humor in the predicament and letting her know that it’s normal for kids to accidentally dial emergency services.
I strongly believe that the girl possesses remarkable determination and dedication, as demonstrated by her initiative to learn to become a doctor. Not only has she taken on the challenge of mastering medical knowledge, but she has also shown resilience in reporting deaths and organizing meetings. Her skills are not just something she’s acquired; they are the result of her life experiences that have shaped her into the person she is today. It’s clear to me that she deserves recognition for her hard work and commitment.
“Disregarding the naysayers, she’s not the only kid who’s ever had to dial 000, and she certainly won’t be the last. Now that she knows what that number represents, I’m confident she won’t make that call again.” (Written from the perspective of an observer.)
The original statement is: “A fourth detailed that, as a child, they lost count of the number of times they called emergency services on one particular night. However, they only ever hung up after calling. They commented that at least she had the confidence to carry on conversations with them.”
And another joked: ’21st birthday footage lol or maybe graduating from medical school footage!!’
