Misfits star’s British heist drama is coming to ITV

As a seasoned gamer with a penchant for binge-watching gripping dramas, I can hardly contain my excitement about the upcoming releases of “Culprits” and “Welcome to Chippendales” on ITVX this year! Having spent countless hours immersed in the digital world, I’ve learned to appreciate a good plot twist and suspenseful narrative that keeps me hooked from start to finish.

ITV officially announces that the British heist series, titled “Culprits,” will become streamable on ITVX towards the end of the current year.

Last year, an eight-episode show debuted on Disney+, featuring Nathan Stewart-Jarrett from “Misfits” in the role of Joe Petrus, a family man enjoying the American dream alongside his partner and step-kids.

Yet, it’s worth noting that Joe’s recent family has no idea about his past involvement in a risky heist with a criminal gang, many years ago. His potentially perilous past may soon collide with the present.

In the official summary, it states: “As a murderer begins to focus on the team responsible for the crime, Joe understands that his family’s safety is at stake. In an attempt to safeguard them, he journeys back to London to reconnect with his former gang and uncover who poses a threat to them.”

Among the other actors are Gemma Arterton, Niamh Algar, Kirby Howell-Baptiste from Killing Eve, Ned Dennehy known for Good Omens, Kamel El Basha, Tara Abboud, Kevin Vidal, and Eddie Izzard.

The show “Culprits” was developed and overseen by J Blakeson, with collaborative production from Stephen Garrett and Morenike Williams of “Killing Eve.”

Additionally, the Disney+ series titled “Welcome to Chippendales” is set to be aired on ITVX towards the end of the current year as well.

As a gamer, I’d say: In my gaming world, there’s a riveting tale unfolding about Somen ‘Steve’ Banerjee, an Indian immigrant who astonishingly built the most renowned male-stripping empire on the globe. This story is anything but ordinary – it’s filled with twists and turns as nothing could halt Steve in his tracks.

Marvel actor Kumail Nanjiani, portraying the main character, once characterized the series as “crazy bananas”. He elaborated, “An astonishing number of events unfold within this narrative that seem completely preposterous, yet every single one actually occurred.”

“If people are like, ‘Hey, that feels like too much’, you’re like, ‘That’s what really happened!'”

Both “Suspects” and “Chippendales” can currently be found on Disney+ for viewing. Later in the year, they will also become accessible on ITVX through streaming.
