As a lifestyle expert with a background in family and travel, I can’t help but admire Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky’s recent getaway to Barcelona for Elsa’s birthday. The photos and videos they shared on social media are a testament to the power of creating cherished memories as a family.

Over the weekend in Barcelona, Elsa Pataky turned 48 years old and Chris Hemsworth was there to help her celebrate. On Monday, however, the whole family came together for some laughter and fun.

Chris, the Australian actor aged 40, posted on Instagram a video featuring him, his spouse, and their ten-year-old twins Sasha and Tristan having fun in the intricately designed ball pit at The Balloon Museum.

In the video, the famous actor appears with his head peeking out from among the balls in the ball pit, gulping for air as if he had just emerged from swimming underwater.

He then ‘sunk’ under the surface as he took another gasping breath.

In the background, the twins and Elsa laughed at Chris’ performance.

‘It’s the giant swamp monster,’ said one of the twins, as he threw one of the balls at Chris’ head.

The camera then panned to Elsa who laughed as she dipped in and out of the ball pit.

One of the twins then jumped on Chris as the family continued to roll around in the plastic balls.

On Saturday, Elsa posted a glimpse on Instagram of their exciting vacation in Spain that followed.

At a glance, Elsa and Chris appeared deeply in love as they snuggly embraced each other on a quintessential Spanish street for the camera.

The family, consisting of the parents and their children – India, 12, and identical brothers Sasha and Tristan – joined them on their journey. Elsa took turns sharing various family photographs to chronicle the experience.

To mark her 48th birthday, Elsa joyfully returned to her homeland of Spain for a grand celebration with her beloved family in Barcelona.

She expressed her gratitude for all the birthday wishes she received and shared that she had an amazing day, as depicted in this joyful photo of her with Chris.

Hollywood megastars Chris and Elsa tied the knot during the Christmas holidays in 2010.
