As a dedicated gamer with years of experience under my belt, I have seen creators push the boundaries of what’s possible in various games, and this latest creation by ThisPotatoGuy is no exception. When I first heard about the Valorant map recreated in Fortnite, I was both intrigued and skeptical. But after giving it a try, I was blown away.

Ever thought you would see Valorant in Fortnite?

Creators truly shine when they tap into their creativity. Take map designing in Fortnite, for instance. Numerous individuals have outdone themselves with their designs. One creative mind even replicated a renowned Valorant map within Fortnite, offering an almost identical gaming experience to the widely-popular first-person shooter.

Inspired by the renowned Valorant map named Split, this UEFN (Unreal Engine Fortnite) creation offers a visual experience that some users find even more appealing than Valorant itself.

The map designer known as ThisPotatoGuy is renowned for producing distinctive and remarkable creations in Fortnite Creative. Previously, he crafted a portal gun that functions similarly to those found in games such as Portal and Splitgate.

Currently, ThisPotatoGuy managed to bring the entire Valorant map, specifically Split, into Fortnite Creative for use.

So, how did he do it?

ThisPotatoGuy talks how he was able to recreate Valorant map in Fortnite

As a devoted fan of ValorThisPotatoGuy’s, I can tell you that his creative journey towards crafting a Valorant map in Fortnite started with his deep engagement in the competitive Valorant scene.

In an exclusive interview, ThisPotatoGuy shared, “During a professional Valorant match, an idea struck me – I wanted to replicate certain mechanics from Valorant in Fortnite. However, I realized that creating the appropriate environment was essential before implementing these ideas.”

After ThisPotatoGuy settled into his seat, he became unstoppable in his pursuit. He was dead set on designing a Fortnite map that reflected the Valorant universe instead.

In total, I spent approximately eight hours working on importing the map into UE5 (Unreal Engine 5), making it suitable for UEFN (Unreal Editor for Film and Television), and refining its textures and fixing various issues.

Once the procedure was complete, the remaining events became legend. ThisPotatoGuy managed to integrate an entire map from another game into Fortnite with great success.

This is where the future of gaming begins.
