Samurai Jack and Beetlejuice join MultiVersus
As a long-time MultiVersus player with countless hours under my belt, I’m beyond excited about the addition of Samurai Jack and Beetlejuice to our roster! The Evo 2024 announcement was like a dream come true for me.
Two new characters were announced during Evo 2024 for MultiVersus; Samurai Jack and Beetlejuice.
At EVO 2024, the makers of MultiVersus revealed that the playable cast for their platform fighting game is expanding. Following the debut of Agent Smith, they unveiled the first two characters of Season 2: Samurai Jack and Beetlejuice.
Samurai Jack in MultiVersus
I’m a gamer, and let me tell you about this captivating character from Samurai Jack, a cartoon series I once watched. In the past, there was a young prince who was magically transported to the future by an evil demon named Aku. Equipped with a powerful magic katana, my mission as Samurani Jack is to grow stronger and find a way back in time to put an end to this malevolent being’s reign.
In MultiVersus battles, carrying a sword can give Samurai Jack an edge over his opponents. However, it’s important to note that most adversaries are also armed. Therefore, Samurais Jack’s presence remains balanced and fitting within the context of the game.
Gameplay Trailer
A gameplay trailer for this new MultiVersus character was shown during Evo 2024.
In simpler terms, Samurai Jack is an aggressive character in MultiVersus, known for his powerful offensive attacks. His sword techniques are visually impressive and productive. Additionally, Jack’s agility is notable, particularly when navigating platforms.
Beetlejuice in MultiVersus
This strange individual is known as a bio-exorcist, assisting restless spirits in making unwanted presences leave. The name Beetlejuice, pronounced as “Beetle-joo-ce,” is best avoided, as summoning him by repeating his name three times is not an advisable action.
In 1988, the first Beetlejuice movie directed by Tim Burton and starring Michael Keaton as Betelgeuse was unveiled by Warner Bros. Pictures. Nearly four decades later, in September 2024, a sequel titled Beetlejuice Beetlejuice will be released by the same studio. Given that MultiVersus is developed by Warner Bros. Games, it’s no wonder that Betelgeuse from Beetlejuice appears in the game.
Gameplay Trailer
As a dedicated gamer excitedly waiting for new updates, I can tell you that so far, I haven’t gotten a peek at the upcoming Beetlejuice trailer or gameplay in MultiVersus. Rest assured, as soon as any information becomes available to me, I will be sure to share it here.
