Kate Hudson, Demi Moore and Emma Stone pose for a mid-Oscars selfie as they lead the A-listers getting snap happy inside the ceremony

Kate Hudson, Demi Moore, and Emma Stone were among the many stars taking selfies at the Oscars ceremony on Sunday.

The actresses were joined by Emma’s husband, Dave McCary, and Kate’s fiancé, Danny Fujikawa, who helped take the photo.

Similar to Teyana Taylor, they also paused on the red carpet to take selfies with their fans.

Chase Infiniti, known for her role in “One Battle After Another,” also captured the event with photos or videos.

The rising star took a selfie while watching KPop Demon Hunters perform, holding a brightly lit lightstick.

Rose Byrne and Bobby Cannavale, nominated for Best Actress, enjoyed their time on the red carpet.

The couple smiled with fans outside and snapped a few photos before heading into the ceremony.

The 98th Academy Awards honored the top movies of 2025 at a glamorous ceremony held at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.

The film ‘One Battle After Another’ concluded the 2026 awards season with a Best Picture win. Michael B. Jordan and Jessie Buckley were recognized as the best actors of the year that night.

At the 98th Academy Awards, Joaquin Phoenix, age 39, unexpectedly won Best Actor for his role in ‘Sinners,’ while Florence Pugh, 36, was named Best Actress for her performance in ‘Hamnet.’ The ceremony took place at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.

Paul Thomas Anderson, along with Teyana Taylor and the entire team behind the film, received the night’s biggest award. The movie was also the biggest winner overall, taking home six awards.

The American black comedy action-thriller film beat out a large number of competitors, including titles like Bugonia, F1, Frankenstein, Hamnet, Marty Supreme, The Secret Agent, Sentimental Value, Sinners, and Train Dreams.

Led by Leonardo DiCaprio, the movie One Battle After Another follows a group of former revolutionaries who come together again when one of their own needs help – their friend’s daughter has been kidnapped. The situation is complicated by the return of an old enemy after 16 years.

Everyone is likely to be talking about Jordan winning Best Actor for his performance in Ryan Coogler’s film, Sinners.

Thirty-year-old Timothée Chalamet, known for his role in Marty Supreme, surprised many by winning over established favorites during award season. He beat out strong competition including Leonardo DiCaprio (One Battle After Another), Ethan Hawke (Blue Moon), and Wagner Moura (The Secret Agent).

I seriously couldn’t believe my eyes! There was Jordan, walking onto the stage, and who was there to greet him? Adrien Brody! Adrien Brody! I almost lost it, honestly. It was like a dream – the new nominee meeting the reigning champion. I was completely floored!

The story follows two brothers who go back to their hometown hoping for a fresh start, but they soon find out a terrifying threat – vampires – is already there waiting for them.

Jordan played both of the Moore brothers in the movie: the older, more serious Elijah, nicknamed ‘Smoke,’ and the younger, more lighthearted Elias, known as ‘Stack’.

Jessie Buckley continued her winning ways as she earned Best Actress for her role in Hamnet.

The 36-year-old Irish actress won against Rose Byrne (If I Had Legs I’d Kick You), Kate Hudson (Song Sung Blue), Renate Reinsve (Sentimental Value), and Emma Stone (Bugonia).

As a lifestyle expert, I’ve been deeply moved by the story of ‘Hamnet.’ It beautifully portrays the profound grief of a couple – Agnes and William Shakespeare – after the tragic loss of their son, Hamnet, to the plague in 16th-century England. It’s a powerful adaptation of the novel, and really delves into how they navigated such a heartbreaking time.

Agnes is a mother grieving a terrible loss, and she needs to find the inner strength to care for the children she has left.

The Netflix film triumphed over Arco, Elio, Little Amelie or the Character of Rain, and Zootopia 2.

The film continued its historic night by winning Best Original Song for its popular track, Golden, as KPop Demon Hunters.

It won against these other nominees: “Dear Me” by Diane Warren, “Relentless” and “I Lied to You” by Sinners, “Sweet Dreams of Joy” by Viva Verdi!, and “Train Dreams” by Train Dreams.

This Netflix movie follows the members of a famous KPop girl group as they navigate their public lives while secretly battling demons.
