Nicole Scherzinger, Ashley Roberts, and Kimberly Wyatt of the Pussycat Dolls turned heads as they left the set of The One Show after performing together for the first time on Friday.
The popular band, once made up of six members, is returning with a huge tour that includes 53 shows in the UK, Europe, and North America. They’ve also released a new song!
After finishing their PCD Forever tour, Nicole, Ashley, and Kimberly all seemed happy as they left the BBC Studios together.
Nicole looked stunning in a black, strapless corset, which she wore with wide-legged, pleated trousers and gold heels.
The singer threw a leather coat over her shoulders and completed her look with a gold necklace and bold earrings.
Ashley turned heads in a sleek black outfit featuring a strapless crop top and coordinating trousers.
Okay, let me tell you about a look I spotted recently! The Heart presenter was absolutely rocking a long leather coat – so chic! What really made it stand out was the fabulous fur collar and matching cuffs. It instantly elevated the whole outfit – a perfect example of how a statement detail can make all the difference.
Kimberley looked chic and cozy in a grey knit outfit, pairing it with a fur coat and tall boots as she stepped out in the chilly British weather.
The three of them were beaming as they left and took selfies with fans before getting into their car.
Nicole, Ashley and Kimberley have reunited for the first time since splitting 16 years ago.
Three original members of the group—Carmit Bachar, Jessica Sutta, and Melody Thornton—won’t be joining the upcoming tour.
Carmit and Jessica have both shared that they were surprised by the reunion, as they weren’t invited to participate.
Carmit shared a video on Instagram originally posted by Eddie Serrano, a former producer for the girl group, where he voiced his disapproval of their recent reunion.
He explained he wanted to discuss a single topic, and mentioned having close friendships with several members of the Pussycat Dolls, specifically calling Carmit his sister.
I’m really disappointed about this Pussycat Dolls reunion. It bothers me that some of the original members, who were key to creating the group’s success, aren’t included.
We have to view them as a complete group, not just three individuals who aren’t the Pussycat Dolls – it’s like having the ‘Pussy’ part without the full ‘Dolls’ package.
Alongside the clip, the singer wrote: ‘Luv you.’
Jessica shared that she was just as surprised by the reunion announcement as everyone else, finding out about it when it was made public.
When a fan inquired about a potential reunion with the Pussycat Dolls, Jessica simply stated that she wouldn’t be joining them.
They’ve been planning this for a year, and they completely left Carmit and me out of the loop. We’re just finding out about it now, along with you.
Jessica followed up by posting a series of vague messages on her Instagram Stories that seemed to be directed at her bandmates.
Trust that things are unfolding as they should. God is gently guiding people out of your life who aren’t meant to be there and showing you what you need to learn, even if it’s painful. This creates space for the right people and opportunities to come into your life.
Someone else pointed out that simply attending church doesn’t excuse unkind or unethical behavior – God notices how you treat people and what actions you take.
Another message said: ‘The people who have caused you pain will witness God’s incredible healing in your life – it will be obvious, amazing, and far greater than they ever imagined.’
Former member Melody Thornton has so far remained silent about the reunion.
As a lifestyle expert, I remember when The Pussycat Dolls initially split back in 2010. Kimberly Wyatt shared at the time that she felt creatively stifled within the group, and needed space to explore her own artistic path. It was a really honest admission about the challenges of being in a hugely popular group and wanting to grow as an individual.
Nicole pursued a solo career, and in 2019, the group reunited with five members, excluding Melody Thornton, releasing the song “React.” They planned a reunion tour for 2020, but it had to be cancelled because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Rumors of a reunion began last month when the three members were seen having dinner together at the upscale Gaia restaurant in London’s Mayfair.
Tickets for the much-awaited UK and Europe tour go on sale Wednesday, March 18th with a pre-sale, and become available to the general public on Friday, March 20th.
