Junior Andre gave fans a sneak peek at his new movie role, sharing a behind-the-scenes photo on Instagram on Friday.
Dwight Yorke, the 20-year-old son of Peter Andre and Katie Price, is following in his parents’ footsteps with a role in a new movie called Finding My Voice.
The movie also features Junior’s father, Peter, and Michelle Ryan, known for her role as Zoe Slater in the BBC One soap opera EastEnders, according to IMDb.
Kierston Wareing and Vicki Michelle, known from the TV show ‘Allo ‘Allo!, are both starring in the film, which comes out on March 28th.
The movie centers around Melanie (Anais Garness), a talented young singer-songwriter facing a difficult choice. When her family falls apart, she must decide if pursuing music is the right path for her.
The movie’s Instagram page announced that Junior Andre will be playing the character of Johnny in the film.
Johnny is a close friend of Mel’s from school, and he’s one of the people she can always count on for support and encouragement.
The filmmakers released photos of Junior wearing his school uniform and acting alongside the other actors in the movie.
Peter, a proud father, quickly went to the comments to show his support for his son, excitedly writing ‘Yes, my son!’ and adding fire emojis.
Junior signed up to Peter’s acting agency in a bid to follow in his footsteps.
In 2022, Junior launched his music career with a strong start. His first single, ‘Slide,’ reached number one on the UK iTunes pop chart, and a year later, his second track, ‘Only One,’ also topped the charts.
The son of singer Peter and model Katie Price signed his first record deal, but the release of any new music was repeatedly delayed in the following months.
He’s stayed well-known, but hasn’t released much new music recently. Now, it looks like he’s trying to launch a career in television and film.
Junior has joined Ignite Elite Artists, a talent management company founded in 2011 and based in Sydney, Australia.
The talent agency has since opened divisions in the UK and Los Angeles.
Last year, the company announced its move into the UK, explaining it was a logical next step. They said this expansion demonstrates their commitment to supporting top talent and creating outstanding career opportunities in the film, TV, and entertainment industries.
Last year, when talking about the company’s growth into the UK market, CEO Kiera Horner explained that she saw this move as a great chance for employees to develop their careers.
We connect filmmakers and talent from the three biggest international film hubs, offering exceptional support to creatives and helping casting directors find exactly what they’re looking for.
We aim to help our employees grow their careers, both in this country and around the world.
