Fans who loved 90s romantic comedies were surprised and delighted to see Rachael Leigh Cook looking incredibly youthful at an event in Los Angeles on Friday.
Rachael Leigh Cook, 46, showed off her youthful looks while running errands for coffee. She kept it casual in a Mickey Mouse t-shirt and black biker shorts.
The actress, with her long, dark hair pulled back in a casual ponytail, strongly resembled her popular roles as the teen queen in both The Baby-Sitters Club and Josie and the Pussycats.

This public appearance happens shortly after Rachael publicly confirmed her relationship with Brandon Routh, the actor known for playing Superman, at a red carpet event.
The couple first became publicly linked in July 2025 and were seen together at the Elton John AIDS Foundation’s Oscar viewing party in March 2026.
The couple quietly attended the Los Angeles Special Screening of Slanted in March as well.
Last July the rom-com star stepped out with Routh as they enjoyed a date night in LA.
We don’t know exactly when they started dating, but they were seen together at the HomeGrown restaurant in Des Moines, Iowa, last February.
The eatery shared a snap of the actors on Instagram, showing them posing with staff members.

Rachael Cook and Daniel Gillies got married in 2004 and separated in 2019, officially divorcing in 2021. They have two children together: a 12-year-old daughter named Charlotte and an 11-year-old son named Theodore.
Chad Michael Murray and Courtney Ford were married from 2007 to January 2025, when they announced their separation. They have a 13-year-old son named Leo.
After her divorce, Cook shared that she hasn’t ruled out getting married again and remains open to the possibility.
In a 2022 interview with People magazine, she described herself as a dedicated romantic, admitting it might be a bit much at times. She also said she’s definitely open to falling in love again.
She explained that while she’s now a mom, she’s still open to the possibility, but will be a little more careful when deciding because her children are a priority.
As to whether she would expand her family with more kids, the actress said she’s not sure.
She explained that she needs to be aware of her impulsive tendencies and make choices carefully, fully understanding the potential consequences.
