As a film and TV buff, I’ve got to say, Prime Video has really become a go-to for me. They’re constantly adding new and original shows and movies – seriously, there’s something for everyone. Whether I’m in the mood for a sweet young adult romance, a huge post-apocalyptic adventure, or something really witty and satirical, I always find a ton of great stuff to watch. It’s just so easy to get lost in a good binge now!

Lots of excellent limited series are available to watch right now. But if you’re looking at Prime Video, many of their top shows have several seasons, meaning they take more time to finish.

Good Omens

As a critic, I have to say that Good Omens, which debuted on Prime Video in 2019, quickly won me over. It’s based on the fantastic novel by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman, and a huge part of its success is down to the incredible performances of David Tennant and Michael Sheen. Tennant plays the demon Crowley, and Sheen is the angel Aziraphale, and their chemistry is just magical. The show manages to be both hilarious and surprisingly touching, largely because of the centuries-long friendship between these two very different characters.

The first season of Good Omens has six episodes, each around 50 to 55 minutes long, for a total runtime of about five and a half hours. The second season is structured the same way. You can watch both seasons back-to-back in less than 12 hours.

The final episode of Good Omens has a release date: May 13, 2026. This one-time special will conclude the story of Crowley and Aziraphale, so now’s the time to revisit their adventures on Prime Video before the series ends.
