5 indie wrestlers that are way overdue for a contract

As a long-time wrestling fan with countless hours spent poring over indie matches and following the careers of lesser-known talents, I can confidently say that these five wrestlers are poised to make a splash in the big leagues.

Since Joe Hendry’s breakout in NXT and meme fame, a new avenue has emerged for wrestlers. Top-notch wrestlers are no longer exclusively groomed within the WWE/AEW training centers; they are already popular from promotions like GCW, MLW, Wrestling Revolver, Black Label Pro, and more. Not only should WWE/AEW consider developing these fresh talents, but some of them could be primed to debut on shows like Raw, Smackdown, and Dynamite.

1. Myron Reed

In X-division, he materializes, and Myron Reed proudly identifies himself as Yung GOAT. His battles are a proof of his title, showcasing him as a reliable mid-carder who elevates every cruiserweight bout into an exhilarating aerial performance. He’s left his mark across the indie scene, delivering spectacular matches alongside Matt Riddle, The Rascalz, Lio Rush, and Mike Bailey. He would undoubtedly be a crowd-puller for any midweight or cruiserweight division.

2. Jordan Oliver

Jordan Oliver might be tall and lean, yet his skills inside the ring and on the microphone are anything but inhibited. As a cruiserweight and submission specialist, he also plays the role of an irritating villain exceptionally well, often provoking reactions from fans. Companies like GCW, BLP, and MLW have relied on his rapid, energetic performances to ignite the crowd’s enthusiasm. He not only manages to secure victories but also works tirelessly as a reliable performer, taking hits from top-tier talents. NXT or ROH could certainly benefit from having a versatile heel who can elicit both boos and cheers during the same match.

3. Alec Price

Alec Price consistently attends independent concerts nationwide, and he’s become a key figure in the indie music scene due to his unconventional, spontaneous style. His fearless approach mirrors that of Raven, making him an ideal candidate for carrying on Raven’s legacy. What sets Alec apart is his adaptability; he excels in team performances or can secure a solo title shot. In the wrestling world, he’s considered a versatile asset and has built a solid reputation for himself.

4. B3CCA

As a gaming enthusiast, let me tell you, B3CCA is a top-tier talent any company would be lucky to have on their roster. She perfectly embodies the sly, diva persona with an ego that’s hard to resist. Standing tall among female wrestlers, she showcases some impressive high-flying maneuvers that leave audiences in awe. It’s easy to envision her as a captivating NXT personality, owning the stage. However, when the guitar is in her hands, she’s just as entertaining as Joe Hendry. Now, I can’t help but wonder how electric an inter-gender tag match with her would be!

5. Megan Bayne

Megan exudes an aura of self-assured stardom that suggests she might have been a seasoned wrestler in the WWE, having battled it out in several WrestleManias. She stands tall like a regal deity and commands the ring with immense power. Her persona, reminiscent of Wonder Woman or a Greek Goddess, demands reverence. You’ll often find her dominating opponents (both male and female) at Limitless, Beyond Wrestling, and GCW. Her ego is as grand as Athena’s, and her attitude rivals that of Charlotte Flair. It’s puzzling why scouts from AEW and WWE haven’t knocked on her door yet.
