First Look at Jay Baruchel & Ed Helms’ The Stunt Driver

We’ve gotten a first look at Jay Baruchel and Ed Helms (known from The Office and The Hangover) in their new movie, The Stunt Driver. The film, directed by Michael Dowse, is based on the 1981 documentary The Devil at Your Heels and tells the incredible true story of Ken Carter, also known as “The Mad Canadian.” Carter was a daring stunt driver who, in the 1970s, attempted to jump a rocket-powered car over the mile-wide St. Lawrence Seaway – a famous and risky stunt that would have sent him flying from Canada into the United States. The movie follows Carter’s determined effort to make his mark, even as he struggled with personal issues, public skepticism, and competition from another daredevil.
