When I first watched it as a child, I didn’t pick up on any of that, but I instantly connected with it. It’s a film that truly offers different experiences for adults and kids, and I say that as a huge compliment. As a kid, I loved the silly, physical comedy and how incredibly muscular Robin Williams looked – just like the Popeye I knew from the cartoons.
