Jesse Eisenberg Shares Crushing Update on ‘Zombieland’ Franchise’s Future

Jesse Eisenberg recently discussed the possibility of a Zombieland 3 with ComicBook.com, but his response wasn’t very encouraging for fans. While he hasn’t ruled out returning to the series completely, he suggested it’s unlikely to happen anytime soon, as he’s currently focused on other projects. He just finished working on Now You See Me: Now You Don’t, a sequel to Now You See Me 2 that’s been in development for a long time and is finally being released after nearly a decade. They’re already planning a fourth Now You See Me movie, but there’s still no news about another Zombieland film. Eisenberg went on to explain:

Okay, so idle RPGs are huge right now, and I just checked out Siberium. It’s got that cool anime art style, and a bunch of different ways to play. Basically, you’re a commander in this 2D fantasy world, and you collect heroes from six different groups to take down this seriously powerful King of Chaos.
