With the impending Liberation Day and its associated tariffs, a black swan event if ever there was one, the preference for gold is most understandable. President Trump’s tariff tactics, while bold, may yet lead us down the path to recession. 🦢

But fear not! For in every cloud, there is a silver lining. Or perhaps, in this case, a golden one. A recession may just be the catalyst for the Federal Reserve to take decisive action—lower interest rates and quantitative easing could be just the tonic to reinvigorate our ailing markets.
