That house held our most cherished memories – Christmas feasts, Easter egg hunts, Halloween trick-or-treating, weddings, birthdays, baby showers… We marked the finest moments of our lives within its walls.

She posted old pictures of her family having fun at their property, with her sibling Emily Deschanel, famously recognized from her time on Bones, also in the mix.

Zooey mentioned the old family photographs, paintings, the piano I mastered, the wedding dishes, the handcrafted furniture from my great-great-grandfather – all these items that evoke memories of our ancestors,” she said.
