Zombie horror-comedy All You Need Is Blood slated for October 2024 release

Oh, boy! As someone who has been through countless hours of horror and comedy films, I can confidently say that “All You Need Is Blood” sounds like a delightful mix of both genres. The premise of a teen dreaming of becoming a director while dealing with a real-life zombie is not only intriguing but also relatable for many aspiring filmmakers out there. Plus, with the likes of Logan Riley Brune, Mena Suvari, Eddie Griffin, Neel Sethi, and newcomer Emma Chasse in the cast, it’s sure to be a star-studded affair.


Following its debut at the 2023 Sitges Film Festival, the fresh zombie horror-comedy film titled All You Need Is Blood has been picked up by Level 33 Entertainment. This distribution company has scheduled the movie’s streaming premiere for October 2024.

As reported by Variety, the zombie movie is set to premiere on the Kino Studio app on October 19, 2024. In case you didn’t know, Kino is an interactive streaming platform offering a wide variety of feature films, documentaries, and more. After its release on Kino, the film will also be accessible on various Video on Demand platforms.

It’s worth noting that the film “All You Need Is Blood” was produced by Yale Entertainment. This cinematic project serves as the first feature-length directorial work for the acclaimed music video director, Cooper Roberts, who is also a Grammy nominee.

Moreover, Jordan Yale Levine, Jordan Beckerman, Jesse Korman, and Russell Posternak have joined as producers for the movie. Michael J. Rothstein, Jason Kringstein, Scott Levenson, Clay Pecorin, Russell Geyser, Brian S. Unger, Eric Broughton, and Roz Rothstein serve as executive producers on this production.

Logan Riley Brune, best known for his role in “Stranger Things”, takes the main character Bucky. Alongside him are Mena Suvari, known from “Prey” and “Day of the Dead”, Eddie Griffin, recognized for “Undercover Brother” and “Malcolm & Eddie”, Neel Sethi, who starred in “The Jungle Book”, and newcomer Emma Chasse.

Speaking to Variety, the head of Level 33 Entertainment, Andreas Olavarria, expressed his thoughts on acquiring the distribution rights for the zombie movie in North America.
