Molly-Mae Hague’s sibling, Zoe Rae, has experienced a serious response to Botox injections again, not long after her previous session caused her eyelid to droop.
On a YouTube upload on Monday, the health and fitness influencer disclosed the outcome of the flawed treatment that has caused her left eye to be only partially open once more, confessing that this time it’s even worse than before.
In February, Zoe, aged 28, alerted others about a relatively uncommon side effect of the process following her initial experience with eyelid drooping (ptosis) after undergoing it.
An uncommon issue can arise when the Botox injection extends past the targeted spot, affecting nearby muscles responsible for lifting those areas. This may lead to a drooping or sagging of the eyelid or eyebrow.
The criticism, made by Zoe, about Molly’s excessive focus on cosmetic surgeries in her Amazon docuseries, occurred merely weeks ago. This came after Molly decided to have her fillers removed, following her participation in Love Island.

Under the shield of sunglasses, Zoe started: “Give me a moment, and everything will become clear as I share what transpired. I believe those who’ve visited before can visualize the events that unfolded.
“Admitting my mistake, I had vowed not to repeat the action, but instead, I only intended to accentuate the lines on my forehead. However, I failed in my resolve. Impulsively, I decided to give Botox another try, and guess what? My luck was incredible.”
“I must confess, I had promised myself not to do it again, but I ended up giving in. Initially, I only intended to emphasize the lines on my forehead, but I couldn’t resist trying Botox once more. Can you believe my good fortune?
She added: “To be honest, I’m really disappointed. I went to the exact same spot, but she took such great care and claimed she didn’t inject it into the spots that would lead to this drooping.
‘I wasn’t going to address it. I literally put on on my Close Friends, like “Guys what do I do?”
It’s even better than the previous instance because I’ve had to postpone several plans for this week due to an issue with my eye that has almost completely shut it. Previously, I had photo shoots and other engagements lined up.
Oh, the heartache! Truly, it’s all on me. I fully acknowledge my role in this. I swore up and down that I wouldn’t let this happen again, yet here I am, questioning fate as if it were a fickle friend. “Surely, not again?” I thought, oh, how wrong I was!
As a dedicated admirer, I delved deep into the realm of knowledge, discovering that the odds seemed stacked against repeat occurrences. Yet, my inner confidence, bolstered by past experiences with Botox, began to stir, not because I was uncertain, but rather because I knew its transformative effects – a boost in self-assurance and a noticeable smoothing of my skin.
In a light-hearted manner, she commented: ‘Things have turned quite chaotic here. I seem to be the most unfortunate individual on earth. I simply can’t cope right now. I’m trying to recall when my last bout of bad luck ended. I believe it was about three weeks ago.’

As she narrated, she shared that her journey home was challenging because the star’s heavy droop made it difficult for her to see clearly, forcing her to hold it up while driving.
As your go-to lifestyle guide, I feel compelled to bring up a topic that might have slipped through the cracks. Though humor isn’t typically my intention when discussing work matters, I believe in transparency between us. So let’s tackle this together with understanding and empathy, even though it’s a subject that brings me no amusement personally. It’s not a laughing matter for me because it concerns my profession and livelihood, and I assure you, the gravity of the situation is not lost on me.
‘But slap on the wrist for me. Don’t know what I was thinking, but I do know what I was thinking.
As a die-hard devotee, let me share my story. I’ve always been keen on getting Botox, and the experience never failed to delight me. However, I was utterly taken aback when I found myself needing it once more, and this time, I feared it would be even more intense than before.
It appears that Zoe has decided to undergo Botox treatment again, following her sister Molly, who is 26 years old, publicly showcasing her use of facial fillers and Botox in her Amazon documentary series.
In one episode, Molly discovered a popular picture showing her with an exaggerated lip and sharp jawline which triggered a wave of negative comments, some even comparing her likeness to an Xbox controller.
Since she turned sixteen, Molly began using makeup and facial fillers to change her look, and she now acknowledges that her fixation on resembling others was not healthy.
Molly clarified: “It seems like you believe the makeup and injectables enhance your appearance, but in reality, they might be making you appear significantly less attractive.
At around the age of 16 or 17, I began using injectable fillers. This decision seemed to open up a path with unintended consequences. Others have commented that I resembled an Xbox controller or Quagmire, but I am unfamiliar with those references.
As a lifestyle advisor, I’ve found myself falling into the trap of striving for social media perfection, mimicking what everyone else seems to be doing on platforms like Instagram. However, in retrospect, I now realize that this pursuit was not only futile but also harmful to my mental and physical wellbeing. It’s crucial to remember that authenticity trumps imitation when it comes to personal growth and self-expression.

Looking at those photos, I can’t help but feel a pang of self-pity. Things seemed to go downhill from there. I attempted to see the positive, but truthfully, it fell short. Fortunately, whatever it was turned out to be reversible.
In 2019, I personally encountered an internet bully, or what you might call a “troll,” during the launch of Molly’s Beauty Works. My mother Deborah and I were directly targeted.
At the gathering, they secretly listened to a famous attendee disparage Molly about the volume of fillers in her cheeks and lips, as they were both in the restroom at the event.
Reflecting on the surprising incident, Zoe shared: ‘During my mum’s Beauty Works gathering, we found ourselves in the restroom, where another well-known figure was discussing her unfavorably, commenting on her appearance and the extensive cosmetic procedures she had undergone.’
After that, my mother and I stepped outside, and the individual seemed somewhat surprised, as we had overheard the entire discussion.
I wholeheartedly concur with their assessment that she appeared quite awkward, likely due to excessive facial fillers. At some point, I’m sure I advised her to address this issue.
